AT0527
^Not only that, i would never ride a boomerang with those trains.
IceDragon
I actaully quite like the Maverick carts. None of the others, purely because they're so short! I dunno why, they just look good... Another one was the Vampire trains at Chessingtopn, before they got the floorless ones. It used to swing pretty high and the scenery was there... Now it's the pits
Holtskee
I like the Big Thunder Mountain trains with the mock locomotives hooked to the front. I also like Arrow's old Hypercoaster trains on Magnum...just like the old school futuristic look they have.
Nrthwnd
Now that I have been to Tokyo Disney Resort, I must say that the really coolest and technically interesting ride vehicles have to be (IMhO) the two trackless rides there... One in Tokyo Disney Sea, the other in Tokyo Disneyland Aquatopia and Pooh's Hunny Hunt. The trackless vehicles are really something to watch, especially in Aquatopia at TDS because you can see all of them out there, whirling and running in several directions (so you think, but actually two programs laid out for each side of cars) in the shallow water. Especially fun at night with great night lighting everywhere, including on and under the "cars". With Hunny Hunt, you get three "hunny pots" all taking off at once, and immediately going through several configurations, travel patterns (backwards, too!) and sometimes "parking" together for a particular show scene. The Dream Room is especially fun and nutsy, going round and round and round. And then there's the time when Tigger shows up and... well I won't tell all. But you can guess what happens with him and us, lol. Great fun with both of them - and really amazing technology used on each in it's own unique way. (photos are from the Tokyo Disney Resort website) Hunny Hunt's "pots" all gathering for a blustery day with Winnie and friends. Great fun! Aquatopia at TDS. This was the first of the two rides to use trackless vehicles. And it's fun, too! And I rode it every chance I got. Easy walk-on too.
-LILDAREDEVIL5-
I love the GCI Millenium Flyer trains. So comfortable I'd love to buy one to replace my couch. Tower of Terror at MGM also has some pretty cool ride vehicles.
DBru
I like Mystery Mine's cars at Dollywood. IMO, they're comfortable and look impressive, too!
raptorcrew2002
Coaster's: Big Thunder - for detail. Drachen Fire - I always liked the trains on Drachen Fire with the light strips. Looked really cool at night and the car design had a slickness to them. Simulator: Back to the future. Others: Test Track deserves props also, if anything for the idea of. 20 000 leagues. Prob one of the coolest ride vehicles made. King Kong Orlando, the whole cable car thing really was a neat idea but the ride did kind of blow. eltorobaby
Clearly the 4th dimension coasters like X wouldn't be the same without their trains.
PURE
What about this train... Running on a boomerang at the Vienna Prater. For as I know, the only train that runs on the good old Arrow (and Vekoma) looping track without over the head restrains. Those restraints have GOT to be painful. Is that metal bars directly on your thighs? I liked TTD's themed trains before the pieces started flying off them at 420 feet.
bgwfreak
I loved the glow-in-the-dark trains on Drachenfire. Of course it beat ya likea n Arrow, but to see it go by at night was awesome. Most of the ride area was dark as well from what I remember. I don't know why Arrow never used those on any other coasters.
Manny In England
Just discovered this at the Maurer Sohne website. I am a big fan of the X-Car, although the coasters currently using them are nothing special. Really hoping a good coaster is built with these new floorless ones. The X-Car really is great for movement and this can only be another step in the right direction. Floorless X-Car

bellhop96
The Revenge of the Mummy the ride vehicles. They have very high quality speakers, cool headrests, comfy lapbars and are themed well. Oh, and they are high capacity!
Synshine
I loved the glow-in-the-dark trains on Drachenfire. Of course it beat ya likea n Arrow, but to see it go by at night was awesome. Most of the ride area was dark as well from what I remember. I don't know why Arrow never used those on any other coasters. Sit-down loopers sort of lost their thunder not long after Drachen Fire's debut with inverted coasters arriving a year afterward. Consequently Arrow only managed to make a couple more of those coasters with those cars.
cowboyjoe
NAD Century Flyer Trains are by far my favorite coaster trains of all time. The silver metal art deco cladding is one of a kind and is truly stunning. If only there was a park that maintained the headlights... The most comfortable coaster trains would be a tree way tie between the Phantom's Revenge, TTD and Millie The best darkride car is definitely a classic pretzel. As far as flatride cars go, my favorites are the Traver turtle cars on Kennywood's Turtle. Last but not least, my favorite simulator car will always be the Delorean Time Machines. Gigalyte
This has already probably been said but Imo the coolest looking coaster train to date is the formula Rossa train those things look amazing. I also think TTD trains is pretty cool along with Manta and Tatsu. Wishing I could of saw those glow in the dark Drachen Fire trains
PCW_Nut
For me it would be either the Indiana Jones at DL or Dinosaur vehicles over at Animal Kingdom...both of those vehicles do so much for sucking you into the world and environment...love it. doublestufforeo
I quite like Harry Potter and The Forbidden Journey's vehicles, the seats are extremely comfortable, and it's cool to look to the side when on the edge, and JUST make out the train coming behind you on the robot arm contraption, it's really neat to see. Also I love Rip Ride Rockit's lap bars, I just didn't like when I got stapled in and every time I get out the seats are at such an angle I always nut tap myself on the way out, (even being very cautious not to, which is kind of hard when theres a rush of people trying to get into the train just as you get off.)
