I have one line to open this review:

Coaster enthusiasts, this expansion was made for you.

And that is exactly how I feel. Yes, this expansion does allow you to transform your park into a zoo, but other than that, it is all for us. From custom stalls, to elements only die hard fans would recognize, this expansion pack has almost everything to make the Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 trilogy a sure fire hit.

Here’s all the new things added in the game:

Rollercoasters

-Coaster Ball

-Dizzy Coaster (Turbulence)

-Drifting Coaster

-Extended Coaster (new elements, many train types)

-Robotic Coaster

-Rotating Coaster

-Spinning Steel

-Splitting Coaster

-Towering Coaster

Junior/Gentle Rides

-Dino-go-around

-Giant Ferris Wheel

-House of Fun

-Insect House

-Lion Show

-Nocturnal House

-Reptile & Amphibian House

-Tiger Show

Thrill Rides

-Barn Stormer

-Claw of Doom

-Insanity

-Loop the Loop

-Loop-o-Plane

-Meteorite

-Robot Arm

-Roll-o-Plane

-Sky Swat

-Tagada

-Thunder Bobs

-Top Star

-Topple Tower

-Twirler

-Whirling Dervish

Transport Rides

-Air Boat

-Elephant Transport

-Paddle Steamer

-Safari Tram

-Safari Transport

The zoo feature is actually very fun and easy. It adds a certain essence to your park. They could have added a few more animals but I’m sure people will get creative and find ways to add more.

The selection of new thrill rides in the game is amazing. I haven’t even heard of several of them but they are still amazing. The swat is definitely one of my favorites. The realism up close of all the rides is just unreal.

The family rides are also nice. The giant Ferris wheel was much needed compared to the original. A lot of the family rides are animal related walkthroughs and really add some variety to the game.

The coasters are a bit strange but the most needed was the extended coaster. Basically, it is all the other B&M types with added elements. You can add dive loops, inclined loops and have diagonal loops. (Finally!)

The stalls have also improved. You can choose a “make your own stall” that is basically just a counter that you choose what to sell from it. It is very nice for inside shops. Sadly, there are not midway games, but several other types of stalls like the much anticipated fries stall! Sorry, maybe next time.

I haven’t gotten into the custom billboard mode yet but it looks very nice and simple. But it looks as you will have to make the images using another program but I might be wrong.

Overall, it seems as the FPS has improved drastically. But I recently upgraded my RAM so that is probably part of it. The game is getting better and better with each expansion and this one does not let up. I do belive they are running out of ideas but I’m sure they’ll get some in soon. But other than that, it’s great.

I give it a:

-Blah

-Okay

-Not Too Bad

-Highly Recommend

-Must Have.

The animals will eat each other like if a zebra is put in a cage with a panther, tiger, or lion it will be ate; but all you see is a big cloud of dust then it says it was killed by a predator.

The animals do not eat humans but it scares them.

There are Zebras, Gorillas, Tigers, Grizzly Bears, Polar Bears, Orangutangs, Gazzells, Lions, Panthers, Kangeroos, Horses, Rhinos, Hippos, Gerraffs, Elephants, Panda Bears, Ostrichs, Camels, another type of monkey, and one other. 20 in all. I've almost finished the game and I think its great.
