Which park are you speaking about?  It is $100 at Knotts and $350 at Magic Mountain for Prestige Passes All-Park Add Ons with no recent changes.

Sincere apologies.  I'm talking Legacy Six Flags parks.   SFoG, SF Great America, SF Great Adventure, Fiesta Texas etc.  I'm surprised MM is still $350.  That'll be interesting to watch.  Is that the only one with a CF park really close?

All number rounded up to nearest dollar:

OriginalIy, I checked Frontier City and they were down to $100 for Prestige + $225 for an All-Parks or $325 total and I figured that they were one of the smaller in the chain.    Magic Mountain is still $120 Prestige + $350 All-Parks or $470 total with no 2 guest passes so I am going to stick with Knott's for $375 Prestige + $100 All-Parks or $475 with 2 guest passes.

I just tried SFOG from California web location and got $100 Prestige + $215 All Parks and

SFOT $120 Prestige + $205 All Parks, so I think they are all over the place and don't know what is going on.  It makes sense that the only top corporate position that came from legacy Six Flags was Chief Technology Officer.  It also seems like they want at least $300 from someone from California location to get all the parks.

Thanks for responding to my post tndank :-)

I guess I am stupid.  I think I stated at one point that a Knotts Prestige + All Parks came with 2 guest passes but a SFMM did not, but it is the legacy Six Flags Prestige All Parks add on that gives you the 2 guest passes and not the Prestige pass by itself.  This is backwards from Cedar Fair legacy parks where the Prestige Pass is the more expensive portion of the pass and comes with the guest tickets.  Doh!

I can't wrap my head around much of this as the difference between "gold" and "prestige" seems negligible to me. I mostly just visit SFMM and Knott's but live part-time within reach of SFOT. I seem to recall paying a little over $100 for a Knott's season pass and a little under $100 for a SF season pass. So, same prices really? It's also the case that non-SFOT locations are much more expensive?

Is there an argument to be made for the "prestige" over the "gold" that I'm missing? One "skip the line" per visit would be nice, but I rarely go near these places on busy days. I don't need preferred parking because I don't mind a bit of a hike through a parking lot. I think I've had "VIP Entrance" for a couple of of years but have completely forgotten it's a thing every time. 15% off food / merch doesn't affect me since I generally steer clear of both theme park food and theme park couture.

For you, Arthur, I don't think there is a reason for the prestige.  True for most I would imagine.  Plenty of scenarios where it could make sense. Families getting one, people with many short visits during the year, etc.

I just compared meals, line skipping, rentals, and photos benefits and even those do not transfer across the chains in 2025.  This is kind of screwed up.  The All Parks is good for both chains but your season meals is only good at your legacy chain, etc...

So if I want season meals, drinks, all parks, line cutting, etc, then I do need 2 separate legacy passes with 2 all-parks and 2 legacy meals, 2 legacy drinks, 2 legacy all parks line skipping, and 2 legacy of everything else at the brand new combined Six Flags?  I hate this company already ;-)

It's basically still 2 separate chains other than the basic admission & parking.

Of the non shared items the only one that really irks me is meals since I don't do any of the other stuff.

But it still comes out to and extra $300+ to add the other all park pass and meals just to get meals at the 2nd chain.

The all park pass sounds good at first glance but if you plan to eat at the park too it's suddenly not a great deal. (Or if you do fast pass or photos)

I was really considering getting a pass again with merger and a single pass option in the $200 range, but after looking closer seems less likely.

My guess regarding the meal plans not working across all parks and only tied to legacy parks is be tied into two elements that need to be worked through.

The new entity wants to evaluate the two different existing options before moving forward which a standardized plan in 2026.  Increasing the overall cost in creating an All Park Food Pass could skew the results.

Secondly, current contracts in place with outside vendors will need to be renegotiated and re-evaluated. and management can't make a rash decision right away.

I would expect some type of all park food plan in the future, but at an increased cost.

Consolidation and consistency are being worked on currently in pricing but additional benefits of the merger from a business standpoint will come into play with the consolidation of food, vendor selection and licensing further down the road.

Also for those in the NY Metro area I just did a quick pricing comparison to buy a 2025 All Park Pass from local parks. during the current sale.

I usually get a SFGADV pass, but I plan to still travel to SFNE and Great Escape next week. Also looked at Dorney since, if I haven't been on the new coaster yet and if I get the pass there I can have access legacy FUN parks through December.  I already have access to Legacy SF parks with my current SFGAdv pass.  I looked only at the Gold Pass at each pass and then added the All Park Passport.

SFGAdv: $75 + $110 = $185

Great Escape: $59 + 120 = $179

SFNE: $59 + $120 = $179

Dorney Park: $99 + $89 = $188

SF America: $55 + $120 = $175    Since I was already on the SF site

I suspect that similar to when FUN acquired the Paramount Parks, the cost will be flattened out  will be exactly the same price from every park, although one water/waterpark passes will vary. I'm still interested to see if down the road, regional passes will be made available.

i.e. (So Cal Pass: Combo Knotts/Magic Mountain), NYC Metro Pass (SFGAdv/Dorney), DC (SFA/KD), Southeast (Carowinds/SFoG) Missouri Pass (WOF/SFStL) etc...

So they were able to convince the general public that they were one new happy merged "Six Flags".

They were able to merge the parking and attendance systems together.

They could not scan the same pass at each chain to get the same burgers, hot dogs, tenders plus fries, or drink refills?

Why was All Parks admission for both chains being highlighted on Jan 6th as a benefit, but you have to go to the fine print to find out that none of your other benefits will transfer to the other chain?

Is Jan 6th past peoples' return / refunds dates and will people complain when they only read the first page of terms and conditions where the All Parks would be good at both chains on Jan 6th?

I am not mad at you, but Six Flags got me seeing image.png.9e349c229201b19cdf249ad14b596533.png

I thought it pretty clearly said "admission and parking only" for the all park passport on the site but I was looking at everything closely so maybe it gets missed if you're only briefly looking at it.

I would guess that the All Parks was only good for admission and parking until you added other additions to the pass, so I am not sure if that statement would have stopped me.  I also don't know why I am mad since I visit Knotts a lot but haven't eaten a regular meal at Six Flags in over 20 years.  I just wished some of the benefits would transfer besides admission and parking.

I agree that this is a stopgap for one year since they knew everyone was expecting some sort of overall pass and that after next year there will be one pass to rule them all but at an increased price. Although not necessarily more than if you were already paying for passes for both chains. For several years we had SF Diamond Elite VIP memberships and CF platinum passes. For the time being I think we will just add the all park add on to our SF memberships (I mean those are really ridiculously cheap) and we can just pay as we go on food for any CF park visits next year. I still think the SF memberships are on borrowed time so I'll be curious what they come up with for 2026.
