Well I'm going to be different here...middle.

I say that for 2 reasons~

1. The very first seat (or very last) always have longer waits, so I don't usually sit there.

2. And everything else left is in the middle.

It kind of depends on the coaster though.

It really depends on the coaster. Usually on an inverted coaster I prefer the front because you can't see much from the other rows. But on such inverts as Silver Bullet, I prefer the back. It makes the ride feel a tad bit faster.

On X I prefer the back inner seat; but the front seat provides a great view. But if its just a sitdown coaster it usually is whatever has the least wait.

I'm usually a backseat person, but a lot of coasters lately I've found to be better Front Seat rides...especially the Intamins.

As for airtime, almost nothing can beat Phoenix in the Front seat. That's the coaster that convinced me to start trying front seats on other rides!

I prefer the front on most Intamins, and definitely the Disney rides, so that all the theming is unobstructed. B&M's are great in the back, except for Scream, which is cooler in the front, as are Fire and Ice. Giovanloa's are definitely better in the front. Gerstaluer, I sadly haven't been on any, DAMN THEM FOR SO FAR NOT PUTTING A BOBSLED IN THE US! Wild Mouses, the front! arrows, they all hurt, so the front eases the pain more. Woodies, it really depends

Sort of depends I guess... (here I go again)

Great American Scream Machine at SFOG, I think the front is the best for first-timers... there you'll get some great airtime... then, ride GASM in the back... it's even better.

Georgia Cyclone... in the back... airtime + jerking around doesn't feel that great, but it's still a great ride in the end.

Ninja at SFOG.. how about nowhere. I'm not gettin on that ride... ever... again.

Deja Vu... Probably the front for that one... you get the highest drop going backwards, the sensation is so odd, but really cool.

All launch coasters... probably the front. The wind blowing on your face, and getting all teary-eyed because you're going so fast... ah, it's great.

Emm... that's all I can think of at the moment...
