Today while in line for the Backlot Stunt Coaster at Kings Island I heard a guest say "I just got off the Racer, them seats must have shrunk or something because last year when I rode it I was fine but this time they were real tight". Sorry did I leave the seats in the dryer for too long?

That same guy also made a comment about who owns Kings Island now since Paramount doesn't own it anymore. As well as a bunch of remarks about how the ride's names were changed.

Yesterday FitchCoaster and I took a trip to KBF and while we were in line for Perilous Plunge, a girl was 'explaining' the ride to her friends:

"The boat goes up, turns, goes baboom! and then goes down." this included a hand movement at the 'baboom' part that looked like a small dip. The funny thing is that all her friends were like "Oh really?!" even though you can clearly see the ride from the queue, and there's no dip. We were in awe to say the least.

^ Well, the funny thing is that, with her hand movements, she was implying that it went backwards, then forwards again before the big drop. When she was trying to show her friends the "baboom", her friends told her they didn't see anything.

She repeated a couple times, "Oh you guys obviously missed it. You definitely missed it!"

Funny how he automatically threw out "I may have gained weight since last year" as an explination. Blame the train.

Not said, but done:

At SFGAM yesterday, one long armed rider on Viper thought it would be a good idea to try to touch the run down looking wall between the brake house and the station. The person actually touched it, but they got upset that they got a splinter in the process. Everyone else thought it was hilarious though.

This was at Animal Kingdom.

We were in the Oasis entry area and we saw a couple looking at some Spoonbills. The conversation went something like this:

"Will ya look at that."

"What?"

"Its a platypus."

"No, it can't be."

"Why not? Its a platypus!"

"It can't be, platypus went extinct!"

"Oh. Yeah..."

It was either their plain stupidity or the fact that there was a sign that described the spoonbills a foot away from them that made me burst into laughter.

While at Six Flags Magic Mountain a few weeks ago a woman in line for Riddler's Revenge was telling everyone it was the fastest coaster in the world which I almost hope she was just joking cause if she turned around Superman Escape & Goliath were visible faster coasters.

Another one that didn't occur with me but on AWITP Podcast with Pat McCabe he described how someone said Kingda Ka was not a brand new coaster in 2005 because it was relocated from Hershey Park.

Those are the two I remember off the top of my head.

Today while working a ride that had seat belts I had some guy walk up to me, tell me my equipment is broken and that we (as a park) should be more concerned with guest safety. I walked over to the belt, unbuckled and buckled it a couple times to confirm if this was true. Turns out he couldn't figure out how to undo the buckle, wiggled his way out and thought it was broke because he couldn't figure out how to get out.

The belt is identical to those found on airplanes haha.

Why do people have so much trouble with those seatbelts? I always end up helping people in my row buckle and unbucke them.

Because you don't really find them anywhere other than on airplanes and coasters I guess. And many people have never been on airplanes...

Even on B&Ms, I don't understand why it confuses people. it's not that hard!

The only time I can really understand seatbelt trouble is on the Premire Rides launchers that have seatbelts that click into the side of the lap bar. It is kind of strange if you haven't done it before.

I was at Cedar Point about to enter the queue line for Millennium Force. A guy who was with someone walked over to see how long the line was. It read, "1/4 hour." He walked back over to his friend and said, "1/4? I don't want to wait 25 minutes!" I guess some people didn't do so well in math class.

Yeah, in line for Goliath at SFOG people were arguing over how long 1/4 of an hour was. They finally settled on 30 minutes. lol
