MrX8991
This was a conversation between a dad and his son overheard by my brother in a Disney's California Adventure bathroom. Dad: That Tower of Terror sure was different than the one at Universal Studios. Do you know why? Kid: No. Dad: Because on this Tower of Terror, the floor opened up and you saw yourself drop. Another one took place in an Epcot bathroom between a dad and his son. I always like this one because the kid was smarter than the dad. Dad: Boy, Epcot sure is great, and tomorrow, we're going to Disney World! Kid: Aren't we already in Disney World? Dad: No, today, we're in Epcot. Tomorrow, we'll be in Disney World. It's a common mistake, but I love the fact that the kid already knew they were in Disney World.
traincrossin
My friend: Do you know Sheikra? That goes more than 90 degrees! Me: No, it only goes 90 degrees. Friend: But it looks like it bends in a little. Me: Nope, only 90. It's a B&M dive machine. They only go 90 degrees. (looking it up on RCDB) Me: See? Friend: Yea, but that's not true. Me: Well they advertise 2 90 degree drops. Friend2: How would that work with gravity and everything? Friend: Well, if you look at the picture it looks more than 90 degrees. I gave up. But usually to the GP when Disneyworld comes to mind, they probably think of Magic Kingdom. Maybe that's what the dad was implying. Just my two cents. MrX8991
Yeah, I'm well aware that that's what the dad was thinking, but I thought it was funny that the kid was right.
Angry_Gumball
When building a Maverick-like drop on a coaster for NL, my brother came in and saw what I was doing. I was telling him about what I was doing making the drop go beyond vertical...then told him about vertical drop coasters. He looked shocked when I told him and suddenly asked "Woah! Is that even legal?!?" My initial thought was 'wtf?'
mike541x
My friend said Dominator's loop is bigger than the first drop itself and he said he's sure because he looked at it.
Bolliger&Mabillard
When I worked at Magic Mountain a grown man peed his pants on Riddler's. It's a wierd thing to do.

FeelTheFORCE
"Have you been on the Batman ride at Knott's?" Yeah, a lot of GP are like that. They ride one type of coaster (in this case, inverted), then every other coaster of the same type has the same name. I have a friend that constantly calls Millennium Force "Superman" because of Darien Lake's Intamin Mega Coaster.

Sasquatch
Fresh from Yelp.com: 'Notes to self: 1) Don't wear a cap if you're going to go on the rollercoasters because they make you take it off (wasn't too happy sitting there with total hat hair) 2) bring minimal personal belongings and put them in your pockets or else will have to use their lockers which charge an arm and leg 3) put belongings in a waterproof pouch if you want to ride water rides because you WILL get wet.' Wow, i've seen the light.

IggyACE
This made me chuckle in line for Whizzer last weekend. Three boys where talking and on said to the other two.... I just think the guy thought Batman: The Ride was at Knott's. Not like it was Silver Bullet or anything. But you never know with GP...what do they think, and what to they see? Hmm... atem122
I just found this one on another forum, the person who said it didnt say anything dumb, but the GP at carowinds sound like they are "There was a Carowinds PR person standing at the exit asking people what they thought, and some people said it was the best roller coaster they have ridden... and note that most of those people have probably ridden Afterburn." ^Those new trains must have mini bars or something in them
Bolliger&Mabillard
^You can't really judge people on their preference. Some people like the head bashing that only Vekoma can provide. If that's their thinkg you can't really knock them for it.
Thelegendarymatthew
I had a test with a story about Universal Studios Japan's Jurassic Park ride and someone said that the story talked about the biggest coaster in the world. Also, theres a bunch of people on youtube who seem too hate BGE because they like KD more. I mean, yes KD is better, but I don't despise BGE just because its a park nearby. -Matthew K. WFChris
If parks built rides people didn't like, they would go out of business. Different strokes for different folks. Except Windjammer at Knotts. Everybody hated that thing Chris.

Goliath513
Except Windjammer at Knotts. Everybody hated that thing I guess that makes me a nobody - because I remember that ride as being fairly fun. But then again, I enjoyed Flashback at SFMM, so what does my opinion matter? As for GP saying they like Vekoma rides, people here in Colorado constantly say Elitch's Mind Eraser is the best ride ever. And that is known as one of the worst of the SLCs too. christianscoasters
^I've ridden Mind Eraser many times, and it's been very smooth almost every time. My dad thinks it's "my ride" because I enjoy it. We got off and I said "That's fun" so now he thinks it's my favorite ride ever. Every time we ride a coaster somewhere, he compares it to Mind Eraser. Tatsu does NOT compare to Mind Eraser by any means
coasterfan21
Out of all the funny things i've heard there is one thing that sticks in my head. I was standing by Cyclone at Six Flags New England right next to the entrance sign, listening to a group of kids asking each other if it was Superman. They then started convincing each other it had to be because they thought nothing could be taller than this. All I could do is look up at the Cyclone sign and smile.
