grsupercity 9
I sent my wife a link to rcdb and said to pick a name. I also read her all these ideas. So far I can't get her to go for it
Arthur_Seaton 2
So far I can't get her to go for it Couldn't possibly imagine why. Maybe try designs or genres instead? "Wooden Mouse" "Aqua Trax" "4th Dimension"
SharkTums 135
Don't children have enough problems to deal with in the world of tomorrow?!?! Seriously, we chose a name that our kid could go to a theme park and find a key chain, sticker, or mug with her name on it. That makes her happier than being named after a coaster. Or you could go for Adam's idea...Flight Deck.
coasterbill 296
This is all a big joke right? That aside... Thunder Dolphin?
Sportsdude360 5
For a boy, "Roy", after Judge Roy Scream. For a girl, "Titania", after Titan.
Doppel Looping 2
Whatever you decide to call it, you could get a B&M rattle to play with!
djcoastermark 0
A bad Juju name, DO NOT EVER name your kid after a certain down under coaster, Orphan Rocker.
Samuel 0
I'd go with Viper, and then sponsor the naming rights for a middle name to snack brands. Then you can cover clothing and blankets in branded decals and make a little money. "Viper presented by Doritos Extreme Zesty Sour Cream"
RollingCoasting 0
I’ve actually heard of “Deja” as a girls name before. Try Maxx after Maxx Force. If OP is actually serious about naming his baby after a coaster, this might be the best suggestion. Coaster related, fairly common (With one X), and it even fits the 2010’s trend of odd name spelling.
SharkTums 135
^I don't know anyone who would spell their name with two of the same consonants on the end?!?!?

Seriously, we chose a name that our kid could go to a theme park and find a key chain, sticker, or mug with her name on it. That makes her happier than being named after a coaster. Or you could go for Adam's idea...Flight Deck. It took me years to finally find a item with my name on it with the correct spelling: I was really disappointed in what I found. Hard pass. grsupercity 9
If you name your child after a roller coaster you're enabling bullying. A name like Maverick Taron or Oscar kids would never put it together with a coaster. A name like Walter, Alan or Werner would never be associated with a coaster

rubysparkles 0
These answers have given me a real laugh. I guess you could call it Ryder (like Ghost Rider). And also then it's not tied to one roller coaster...

jlp94 0
How about Jet-Corster Discovery? Some other ideas -Gotham City Gauntlet Escape from Arkham Asylum -Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit -One of those Chinese knockoff names like Flying and Floating Over the Clouds and Water or Pine Forest Flying Mouse or Inertia Airplane Car -Psycho Mouse/Wild Mouse/Mad Mouse -Great White (oh wait a minute... never mind that might spark racial issues ) -Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain -The Chiller -Screamin' Squirrel -Cornball Express Or the best one of all... MisterBrow 0
grsupercity what are your top three coasters? Your sig says you like the Chance Hyper GTX. So.... how about Chance? The wife and I named our girls Samantha and Melissa. When they were 12 and 8 I started to tell them they were named after Sammy Davis Jr. and Mel Torme. What are the top three choices right now? Maybe we can work this backwards.
Afterburner 0
If you name your child after a roller coaster you're enabling bullying. A name like Maverick Taron or Oscar kids would never put it together with a coaster. A name like Walter, Alan or Werner would never be associated with a coaster A name like Maverick would still get them bullied, even if other kids didn't know it came from a roller coaster. LBIJim 0
For a boy, a simple name like Bob would pay homage to the great Bobs coaster at Riverview in Chicago. I never got to ride this awesome coaster. My family visited Riverview in August 1967, but my mother said I was too young to ride such a big coaster. My father and older brother rode it. Soon after the 1967 season ended, the park shockingly announced its closure.
