SharkTums
This was one of our best days at a theme park ever! The park just really seems to care about quality which is such an important part of your experience. The food was just ridiculous. Anything and everything we ate was amazing. I'm not lying or going all hyperbole when I say that this park deserves to be in the top 3-5 Theme Park food experiences in the world (Disney, Europa, Knoebels...IMG!!!!!) thrillseeker4552
the track layouts are indeed identical according to RCDB and after watching a POV. RCDB lists them as having two different track lengths so they are not identical. Did you actually READ the stats???!? I've been on both rides. I could be wrong, but they don't seem like clones to me. I guess I'm also not coaster dorky enough to give a crap either. Like, why does this matter? Â My observation was simply based on the fact that Spiderman is categorized as a "Sierra Sidewinder" track layout on the website. That is all. You're right in that it doesn't matter much, I just thought I'd explain where I was coming from with my original comment.
TBpony414
Reading this while I'm hungry was a mistake!! The food looked absolutely incredible and those kitchens are all spotless! How did the blue shoe washer thing work that Kristen was standing on at the beginning? I've not seen something like that before, usually if anything it's a bucket you walk through, so the shoe scrubber looks cool. The Hulk ride system pictures and explanations were really amazing and a high end comic book restaurant too? Who thinks up this stuff?! Genius! Thanks for sharing your day at IMG with us. bert425
wow. .this 2nd half of the report is Amazing! Â I have to go back and read thru it again.. . but, just WOW. Â that food all looks amazing too.
jedimaster1227
This park really looks incredible! I've always wondered why an indoor park of this size hasn't been attempted in the states (especially in a market that the elements can be a problem, like Florida). It looks like they've done incredible things with the Marvel brand and it is so cool to see a Falcon's Treehouse CircuMotion Theater actually installed in a park with a such a great IP! Thank you for such an excellent report on this place--I'm not sure when or if I'll ever get out to the UAE myself, so I live vicariously through these reports. I'm eager to see IMG Worlds succeed, especially knowing they plan to expand with a second adjacent park.
ytterbiumanalyst
This was one of our best days at a theme park ever! Really looks like it! Wow, they really went all out with those backstage tours. All the food looks fantastic. Everything I've seen about this place says I would love it. They seem to be highly thoughtful and purposeful in everything they do.
Sluggo77
Looks like an awesome place. They definitely seem to take their food offerings very seriously. Wish more parks would.
PeoplemoverMatt
If you watch the videos, do you hear every sound echoing all over the place in a cacophony of chaotic noise? No, because of those funky arc-shaped blue tiles all over the ceiling. They help to absorb and reduce the sound to where the ambient noise is similar to an outdoor theme park, if not quieter! As someone with sensitive hearing, I very much appreciate this level of attention to detail! Â The park itself was great, of course, but it was "little" (probably not a little part of their budget!) details like that one that really put IMG over the top for me. Can't wait to go back here! JimmyBo
As a Marvel Nerd...I loved this report! As an engineer...I loved this report! As a roller coaster Nerd...I loved this report! As a steak lover...i loved this report! I mean...holy crap! This report had everything and I might need a new box of tissues! Â The detail in all the queue lines and on the rides was amazing. The behind the scenes look at how the Hulk Ride works...AMAZING! I'm such a nerd for that! The food at a super fancy restaurant IN A THEME PARK looked delicious. I'm very impressed at their kitchen too (and a little jealous at all the free things you guys got to taste). Â I'm glad you took time to write this report because it was well worth it. I think I may go back and watch every video you have from IMG Words of Adventure and pretend I'm there because I would really love to visit this place. Â Jimmy "this report was AMAZING!" petestrash
Thanks for the behind the scenes shots at IMG. Â All that Structural Porn that you posted for Hulk came to a grinding halt for me in May. Â [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]Â After reading your report about the kitchens, wish I had spent more time trying the food. Â Thanks, Pete.
SharkTums
After reading your report about the kitchens, wish I had spent more time trying the food. Â I know, I told some of the management that they really should focus and market how amazing their food is! They did start offering certain packages where you could come in just for like dinner and two hours of rides and stuff. If anyone heads to the park...go hungry and plan to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner there!
Hilltopper39
I may have made this comment on a previous report or twitter or something, but as great as this place looks all of the pictures of it seem so dark. Does it feel more vibrant in real life? Still looks amazing, just kinds dark in photos (which I guess works pretty well for the dino themed section). Â That kitchen tour looked awesome, behind the scenes stuff is always so interesting that I almost wish that was an actual attraction or up-charge tour experience! Â This kind of place (Probably in a much smaller building) would be great in NYC where the weather isn't so great. Â I've found it weird that NYC/NJ only really has Coney Island, SFGadV, and small Jersey Shore parks--yet they have such a massive population and number of tourists/major media companies. Â C'mon Disney, build a Marvel thing in NY!

Sure it wasn't bright and crazy, but nothing like depressing or off-putting. It was really nice visiting a park in the middle of the desert and not worry about sun screen, the heat, wind, etc.
Guy T. Koepp
I am very curious about the Hulk motion theater. Any chance you took any footage of the ride in action? And I have to ask, any chance you took any footage of the guts of the ride in action under the platform? I would love to see some of that theme park porn if'n you did. I mean, the park IS 'indoors' without much natural light (if any) so the park is lit basically like you're at a park at night time, which, IMO most parks look better at night anyway... coasterbill
Great update! I'm not really into comics or Marvel movies but it doesn't seem like that would matter much. This place looks amazing (mainly because of the food). The Superman coaster also looks incredibly fun.

805Andrew
Looks really cool. I'll definitely have to check out this place when I eventually visit Dubai. Velociraptor's layout reminds me of Blue Fire, which is one my favorite rollercoasters in Europe. Â This park really looks incredible! If it's in a hot weather area, I think it would be better suited for Vegas, if Vegas wanted a full size amusement park.

And you're right, it didn't really matter much because the rides were good just on their own, and the great use of the property was awesome, too! robbalvey
While I have not gotten to our Motiongate part of the report yet (that's coming up soon!) we did get to tour the "under construction" Capitol Bullet Train roller coaster while we were there which has since opened and the park has sent us some footage! So here's a little bit of foreshadowing to our next update...
