tinkerbell
Worst~Medusa at SFMW The line winds all over the place and it's pretty unorganised once you get to the top of the building. Also, the line will seem really short and end up taking forever. Who knew that the "60 minute wait from this point" sign outside would actually be correct.... And it's not a coaster, but the Jungle Cruise queue is awful. Best~California Screamin' Everytime I go on it, the line moves quickly and doesn't wind in and out too much. That's the best one I could think of right now.
benzo41190
Some bad ones I remember are........ -Viper at SFGAm (waiting for 8 trains lenghts in a station isnt fun when you want 1:3 -Gemini at CP -Riddlers Revenge, I wanted front for a POV but never got it -V2 at SFGAm (same thing as Viper, I hated waiting 11 trains for the back) -X-Flight
PKIDelirium
Good: Flight of Fear. Effiecient setup, except the loading side isn't quite deep enough to prevent clogups. Bad: Son of Beast, Top Gun, Vortex, Reptar. Reptar sucks. You enter the station from the rear end, into the narrow station. The back seat queue TOTALLY traffic-jams the entire station. PKI messed this one up bad. Top Gun: Splits into front and back just prior to the station entrance, but just like all of PKI's queues, they don't physically divide it. So people go between the back and front, totally killing the purpose of spliiting it at the entrance. Vortex: INSIDE the station it splits, but awkwardly, then again, no divider. SOB: BAD! Switchbacks in the station that CANNOT be bypassed.
coastakid
Best ride ever but worst que....SROS:SFNE. there are like 500 switchbacks and they are so confusing...ughhhh..lol
BiCoastal Kid
Timber Mountain Log Ride: Why it divides three times, I will never know. Silver Bullet: it takes you REALLY close to the station, and then takes you ALL the way out. It tricks you and is evil! Xcelerator: It doesn't have row partitions, so it's odd knowing where to go. Homer
Best queues: Any of the lines at IOA, well themed, well organised. Alright lines: Mindbender at SFOG, I got lost in the queue line, I ended up going through the woods of Mindbender's queue, really nice, but it sort of wasted my time. A little disorganised, but nice. Worst Lines; I don't really have a worst line...
pagemaster_b
The que for Star Tours at Disneyland still stands out as one of my favorites. There's something about watching R2-D2 and C-3PO bickering, along with the other off-the-wall droids. The waiting line at the Star Trek Experience at the Las Vegas Hilton is also interesting, largely because of all the props, costumes, and such on display. Oddly enough, I never had any real problems with que for the Riddler at SFMM. Then again, the last time I was there it was on a weekday in May 2004. X was the worse line because the train kept over shooting the station. The only que I never really liked was for the Colossal Fire Dragon at Lagoon in Utah--you never had a choice as to where you sat on the train. AllisonY2K
Worst: sorry to go against a partial majority here, I'm voting Hulk as worst queue. once you actually get near the loading area it's not bad, but the downstairs part, packed in like sardines, walking alll the way up and allll the way down with the videos and flashing lights and smoke...ugh..it's like an epileptic seizure waiting to happen. 2nd place, Raptor - now it could have changed, last time I was at CP the queue was in the blazing hot sun, just a massive back and forth twisting weave. I overheard someone say they didn't even care about the coaster anymore, they just wanted to get out of the queue. long, slow moving, and no fans anywhere. blech. Best: Dueling Dragons. best themed queue evar! 2nd place: Montu - after the main corrall line it's quick and easy to get to a row. not themed much, but it's efficient. ..and yes, the queue for Dr. Doom is better than the ride itself! lol. mboy81
What about Legend's queue in the station? I think it's the worst. It was VERY tight in there, and very hot. Plus, the back rows block the rest of the rows as you're coming in. On the other hand, I think that Splash Mountain at WDW was a pretty nice queue, at least once you get inside the mountain part. rollermonkey
I hated the queue for Aska. It had a million switchbacks, none in use, stairs, and was about 300 yards from the exit side of the platform back around to the load side. There were 6 people in the park besides myself, and they made me go around every time. The queue for Spiderman in Japan was particularly nice because even though the main line was 3+ hours through beautifully themed coridors with hardly any switchbacks, the single rider line was a walk-on and about 400 feet shorter! Snuff
For anyone who has been to both US and UK parks; do people queue differently? From what I gather in the US people continue queueing at any loading bays they want regardless of it being empty or not. While in the UK you get into the station and stay in the queue until the loading bays are emptied and then you move into which bay you want. Once these are all taken people stay in the queue and continue to do so until the bays are emptied again.

I've been to 6 parks in California and Nevada and 3 in England, and the line thing is very true. I have a question. What is the difference between "line" and "queue"? When I was in California last year, people didn't understand what I meant when I said queue, they was like "OH! you mean line!" In England (3 weeks ago) they didn't understand when I said line, and THEY were like "oh, you mean queue"
ChrisZer0
NCF, just a different way of saying the same thing. I call "lines" queues and people here give me a funny look, same with calling my cell phone a "mobile" Best: Mission Space at EPCOT. It keeps my eyes busy with all the interesting eyecandy Worst: Titan at SFOT. Summertime is the worst time to be stuck in this queue as the overflow line lacks shading ,spray misters or fans to keep you cool.
TConwell
Best: The Texas Giant - wide lane in, wide lane out. Plenty of room for sitting on the railings if the need arises, but let's stop the making out in line, eh? The kids don't need to learn any new techniques yet. Worst: Coney Island Cyclone. Back when I was a kid this was just rediculous to get in line. I rode when I was 8, and honestly, I have not come across a worse queue. It was meant to hold about 30 people ... and the rest was "general assembly" stuff. Ugh, I can still hear my grand-dad complaining about it. ChrisZer0
I remember when giant got my "worst" queue vote...I give credit to SFoT for getting things straightened out in that matter. I agree that someone needs to send in the PDA police into that queue though. The kids today are all about sucking the tonsils out of each others throats
