Holy Grail was great, but I think I wore out some of the comedy seeing it too much. I haven't seen it in a while so hoping it gets better again next time I watch it.

 

For now, though, Life of Brian is my favorite. Sure, it's derrogatory toward the Christian religion, but I can get over it for the sake of humor.

Holy Grail, that movie beats all others in my book! Sadly, not many people at work have seen it, but those select few are always fun to bounce lines off of.

My favorite movie on that list is "the meaning of life".

I mean the Sex Ed class and the fat guy exploding is just funny as hell

 

But otherwise i would have to go with "now for something completely differnt"

It's close between Life Of Brian and Holy Grail for me but I think the Life Of Brian JUST wins. But basically, sit me in front of a tv showing anything Python-related and I'm in hysterics. Fawlty Towers is awesome too, only twelve episodes but every one of them is solid comedy gold. I think my favourite is probably the one where the Germans come to stay... Classic.

The anarcho-syndicalist scene in Holy Grail is probably the most underrated part of the movie (and it happens to be my favorite scene as well )...

DENNIS: Look, strange women lying on their backs in ponds handing out swords ... that's no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

DENNIS: You can't expect to wield supreme executive power just 'cause some watery tart threw a sword at you!
