jelynch22
I'm finally going to Magic Mountain and Disneyland! I hope to throw in a few other random trips around the Midwest but those are my two new parks. Any tips for a first timer to Magic Mountain? viking86
Well, trip to Denmark was booked today so Djurs and Hansa Park in June are pretty much confirmed! Might also make a stop at Legoland, let's see...
XSupremacy
Going to be at CGA and SFDK regularly, will probably also mix in trips to SCBB and Gilroy Gardens. Heading to the Santa Monica Pier and Universal Studios Hollywood in about a week, do not know any more past that. Might also put in a trip to somewhere in the midwest or southeast(huge Falcons fan, really want to see Mercedes Benz Stadium) and a trip to KBF. thrillseeker4552
I posted my plans a while back, but some things have changed, and I was probably way too optimistic. Here is what I have planned.  100% certain 1. Knott's Berry Farm (have already been several times) 2. Six Flags Magic Mountain 3. Disneyland / DCA 4. Lagoon  There is a decent chance 1. California's Great America 2. Six Flags Discovery Kingdom 3. Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk  Higher chance of NOT happening than happening 1. Kings Dominion 2. Carowinds  Quick question for anybody who knows. Does Gilroy Gardens accept the Cedar Fair Platinum Pass as admission? And if so, what about the all-season dining? I know it's managed by Cedar Fair, but I'm having a hard time finding information on it on the website about the Platinum Pass being valid there. If so, I'm thinking about making a quick little stop there when/if I'm in NorCal.
JJLehto
Certain: Busch Gardens Tampa (1st time) Â Hopefully SF:MM (for the 2nd time) and Knotts (for the first) If so, I'd almost certainly do SF: DK and Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Â Also hopeful but not sure if I will find the time for a non vaca length trip: SF over Georgia Carowinds
RAWKIN_coaster38
Disney World is now solidified and I will be driving down to pick up my mom at the airport, so naturally I now plan for a Carowinds day on the way down, and SFOG on the way back. Â Also super nerdy: I believe I can make Fury my #200 coaster, with Mystic Timbers this weekend and SFSTl as a new park credit likely in between, I can miss one coaster at SFSTl so that my first coaster at Carowinds (Fury) would be my #200. ytterbiumanalyst
Skip Boomerang or Ninja, boom, no problem. Â On second thought, better idea: Skip both Ninja and Boomerang because those suck and add on Mine Blower while you're in Orlando. You're welcome. SLCHeadache
Also super nerdy: I believe I can make Fury my #200 coaster, with Mystic Timbers this weekend and SFSTl as a new park credit likely in between, I can miss one coaster at SFSTl so that my first coaster at Carowinds (Fury) would be my #200. That reminds me, I'm planning my trips to ensure my milestone credits are worthy coasters. Unlike your situation, however, mine relies on not missing any coasters. Credits 10 and 20 were Dominator and Intimidator 305 respectively, and 30 and 40 will be at Hersheypark this weekend - Skyrush and one other. Â With that in mind, I've already planned out the rest of spring. Â Late April: Six Flags Great Adventure (El Toro being credit 50) Early May: Kings Island (The Beast being credit 60) and Cedar Point (Millennium Force and one other being credits 70 and 80) Memorial Day Weekend: Dorney Park and Knoebels (credit 90 being obtained on this trip) Â With that, I could make The Voyage, Fury 325, or Superman: The Ride (New England) credit 100. Â Or you could just go with the flow and let #200 be what it is. I personally revel in the fact that my #100 was Hershey's dumb wild mouse (actually I'm lying it was the best mouse I've ever been on).
michaellynn4
^ Ditto. My #100 was Flying Ace Aerial Chase @ KI, #150 was Great Chase @ SFNE, and #200 was Black Diamond @ Knoebels. It's already nerdy enough that I'm still friggin' counting, so I wouldn't go so far out of my way and purposefully skip coasters just so a particular one lines up with a "milestone" number. Just go with the flow and have fun!
I Like Theme Parks.
I tried to get on Leap The Dips for my 100th, but it was closed. I was going to try to get on it and get out of Lamemont as fast as possible, but I obviously won't get there until after I'd end up breaking 200. My 100th ended up being Laff Trakk. After that I gave up on milestones. But something that's cool is that I ended up making Phoenix my 50th and I didn't even realize it!
DoinItForTheFame
Well, as times have changed. . . And our vacations have been booked, here's our final list of parks we will be visiting in 2017:  - Six Flags Over Texas - Busch Gardens Williamsburg - Six Flags America (new for us) - Six Flags Great Adventure - Six Flags Over Georgia - Dollywood (new for us) - Carowinds (new for us) - Six Flags Fiesta Texas - ZDT's (new for us) - Kemah Boardwalk - Galveston Pleasure Pier - Silver Dollar City  Yep, that's about it. Once our trips get started (this weekend) I'll start an on-going trip report thread, instead of having 10374 million different threads!!

Just go with the flow and have fun! I would never skip anything good but given the fact that Boomerangs are questionably skippable credits for me as it is, now I have just another reason to skip it. I'll likely be back to SFStl this summer anyway so if I change my mind I can always ride it, but I don't think I'll feel like I "missed out" by not riding Boomerang on my first trip to the park. Â I got lucky that 100 and 150 were "good" coasters. In the end, it's for my personal satisfaction. If things don't turn out, I'm not going to go *too* far out of my way to make the milestone something good, but I'd prefer it not be something bad. Â Mine Blower would happen after Carowinds and Disney, I'll definitely have to add that into the trip!

SLCHeadache
And so my plans changed... Â Six Flags Great Adventure was early May. Memorial Day weekend was Valleyfair and Nickelodeon Universe. Random weekend in June was Knoebels and Dorney Park. Next week is Knott's Berry Farm and Six Flags Magic Mountain. Â August is looking to be Carowinds plus one. coneyislandchris
Okay, I actually couldn't recall from memory, so I had to go through my photo backups in order to piece together the timeline. And I'm sure I'll be getting in a few Holiday In The Park visits at the various parks that are hosting those events.
