coasterbill
Oh wait...I just forgot that the microwaves coming from our phones stopp 5 centimeters away from the phone and it does not matter at all how many people surrounding you are "radiating" at the same time Not to worry, your tin foil hat should keep you safe from the microwaves. very little people here on the forum (is there one or two?) care about health subjects... I've noticed that very few people on this forum care about 17th century European fashion styles and how catalytic converters work too. I'm not sure if I can put my finger on why that would be. Some have suggested that it's because this is a f**king Theme Park Forum and that maybe that could be the reason but I'm not buying it.
robbalvey
There`s something that I`m not "getting". There`s so much discussion going on in this thread absout social problems that could be related to Pokemon Go. But why is noone talking about radiation? There are more and more and more things making the use of smartphones and handys attractive...while the World Health Organization (WHO) still says that handy and smartphone radiation could potentially cause cancer. So....would`t it be reasonable to always stay a little careful about everything that makes us use them even more? And if it could cause any kind of damage to brain cells (scientists are not sure about that, no long term studys yet, but it`s possible!) shouldn`t we keep those little machines especially away from our childrens heads? Last I checked no one is playing PokemonGO with their phones on their head. Seriously, this is such an absurd post. I don't even want to get into it.... Seriously...this is such an absurd reaction, that I don`t even want to start explaning. Oh wait...I just forgot that the microwaves coming from our phones stopp 5 centimeters away from the phone and it does not matter at all how many people surrounding you are "radiating" at the same time But honestly...I shouldn`t be surprised about those reactions as I always got the impression that very little people here on the forum (is there one or two?) care about health subjects... Dumb... Dumb... Dumb... Dumb... Dumb... Can we please focus this thread on actually discussing "Pokemon at theme parks" rather than completely stupid crap? Thanks... JeromyL
My daughter told me I need to stock up on battery's. Cause she is ready for Pokemon go on our next trip. Lol. Pretty soon I'll be back packing a car battery . Seriously though. I'm all for it. Give me something to do in between while waiting in line (addicted) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
B&MIntaminGCI
I would love to hit up SFGAdv with Pokemon Go. I usually hit up Historic Richmondtown and the Boardwalk by my house, I've been going every night and I'm halfway to level 23 and I have 114 pokemon out of the ones obtainable. I've met so many cool people and it's just fun. So I can imagine waiting for rides would be drastically improved by playing this game in an amusement park. Genx24
I played at GAdv very sparingly last week, but there are a ton of pokestops and gyms so it's certainly a hot spot. I did catch a Gloom there so I still got some stuff done. I've gone to Richmondtown as well. Most of my rare Pokémon I caught there.
B&MIntaminGCI
The Dragonite keeps escaping me, he was there today at 6:30pm. We've probably been there at the same time, but go to the South Beach Fishing Pier right by Seaview Ave, it's always loaded with lure modules and I've caught most of my rare Pokemon from there, I got a 1098 Rapidash, 1002 Dragonair, Dratini, Electabuzz by the big rec center. Omanyte's, Kabuto, Jynx, and more. There's always like 100 people there too, even at like 2am.
Cj1990
Has anyone played at cedar point? I looked at it on Pokevision and it looks pretty terrible for playing Pokemon go. I'm just hoping I'm wrong.
Jew
Any good finds at parks? I caught a Jolteon, Gengar, Ghastly, and Koffing at USH. Dragonite was a shadow on my nearby, but I couldn't find him.

I tried using Pokenotify on my S7 but it never finds anything, a few days ago it was sending push notifications at least every 60 seconds. Pokemonfinder works for me, but it only shows pokemon within 1km of you and I just got it this morning on the google play store. but yeah Niantic is removing all trackers including their own. They haven't said the footsteps will be gone forever, but they haven't said they'll ever be brought back into the game either. also verison 0.31.0 or whatever its called on apple's store front is currently ranked 2.1/5 People are not happy with Niantic's actions and utter lack of communication. Turning off the in-game tracker, even if it is so the tracker can be fixed, while disabling all other tracking devices was a bad move. They're going to lose a lot of players in the next few days if they can't get the tracker fixed. In other news, Hersheypark has an abnormal amount of Horsea in the park, so if you want one (or twenty) Hershey is the place to be.
