youtube_may_views_devices.jpg.142e7de1fa3d0b3ba30abc2e063de635.jpgSo last month on our YouTube channel we had 75% of our views watched on either a mobile phone or tablet. The number of people watching on computer desktop browsers is rapidly decreasing. Please take our poll. We are curious to know what device "on average" you spend more time viewing TPR's content.

If you watch videos on your phone, but respond to the forum on your desktop, choose the option where you view TPR the MOST. So if you watch more videos than you do browsing the forum, choose "phone", if you browse the forum more on your desktop, choose "Computer Desktop."

(Look, I know this should be painfully obvious to most of you, but people are quickly getting dumber and dumber every day and I have to make this as idiot proof as possible, mainly so the world can prove there is a bigger idiot.)

I don't know how helpful of an answer this is but I'm probably about 50/50 between desktop and smartphone simply because I check it on a desktop at work. Otherwise though I'm almost always on mobile.

I'm definitely following the trend of using mobile more and more often as time goes on though.

So there's my long, not-helpful non-answer. lol

It would be on my phone more if I didn't have a work computer which I usually use during break times to browse. I also am not a huge fan of browsing this forum on my phone. I do watch most of the videos through my phone though but it is not enough to outweigh the browsing on the forum through the computer.

I would say then your answer should probably be mobile if you feel you're starting to use it more and more. And yes, that does help!

I view most Theme Park Review content -by choice- on my computer.

Any time I see Theme Park Review content on my phone it's typically through Facebook, and it's typically because it just shows up on my news feed as I scroll down. I only browse Theme Park Review by choice on my phone when A) my computer isn't available or B) when I'm keeping track of a thread.

I answered desktop because at work I'm on a desktop and at home I'm on a desktop. I prefer to browse the forum on a desktop. Sometimes I do it on my phone but not too often (too small to read and/or navigate), if anything I get TPR content on my phone if I'm scrolling through Instagram or FB on my phone. But overall I'm on my desktop much more often than my phone.

I probably view TPR most on my phone, but I prefer to post/engage on my desktop since the forum isn't very mobile friendly (unless I'm missing something). For TPR's social media content, I typically view it on whichever device I'm using at that time (which is about 50/50 mobile/desktop).

It's hard to pick one as it's not cut-and-dry. There are many (changing) variables that affect where I consume the majority of any website's content.

I'm primarily on TPR content on my iPad - both social media accounts and the forums. I'll use my phone when I'm out and about, but that's a small fraction compared to iPad usage. TPR until recently was blocked by the servers at work, so my desktop time was limited, and it's going to stay that way as I'm only visiting sparingly in order to not raise any red flags and get the site blocked again.

I have to go with my computer, although it's probably something like a 60-40 split. I use the forums exclusively on my computer, but do most of the social media/video stuff on my phone.

About 95% of the time I browse the forum, I am on my laptop. The other 5% is with Tapatalk on my iPhone, but that's rare since Tapatalk doesn't load some photos, so viewing trip reports/announcements can be difficult.

The only times I consume content on my iPhone is through social media (particularly Twitter and Instagram). I also watch most of TPR's YouTube videos through my phone as well. The only time I watch YouTube videos through my laptop is when it is linked through the forum, which isn't too often.

Short answer:

1. Forums = laptop

2. Social media/YouTube = phone

I voted laptop/desktop since I view the forums very, very often. It's essentially my browser homepage!
