Nrthwnd Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 ^ Just curious, but define "cold." If it's anything like Scandinavia was, in June-2014, I think I can handle it without bundling up, too much. In Finland, I got myself a nice comfy vest for the cooler weather there. Still wore shorts, though. (o;
805Andrew Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 Great TR on your opening weekend at Cedar Point. I can't wait for my pilgrimage to the coaster Mecca at the very end of July.
Ed Farmer Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 Great report. This will be the first time I have a Platinum Pass, so I'm looking forward to putting it to good use. Using pictures of Gatekeeper as headboards is a nice touch Viewed 975 times The ultimate sleep-aid!
DoinItForTheFame Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 The ultimate sleep-aid! I think you're getting "sleep aid" confused with that other little blue pill.
Philrad71 Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 ^ Just curious, but define "cold." If it's anything like Scandinavia was, in June-2014, I think I can handle it without bundling up, too much. I wish I could give you a more definitive range, Bill...but if you are visiting CP in June-August, most of the time it "should" be anywhere from 50-90 degrees Fahrenheit. And if you visit in the aforementioned May, September, October time frames, expand it out to 20-90 degrees F (remember, it snowed here just yesterday). So in a nutshell, if you're visiting CP, bring shorts, long and short sleeved shirts, sandals, shoes, ankle socks, wool socks, gloves, hat, pants, sweatshirt, winter jacket, summer jacket, rain jacket, winter hat, summer hat, swimming trunks, sunglasses & sunscreen...and that should about do it!
Satans Hockey Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Great report! I haven't been to Cedar Point since 09 but reading all this and seeing the pictures have made me really want to get back there. Probably going to try to get there next year so I can hit up some of the other Midwest parks as well.
