gbioryl
Say you place clones of Top Thrill Dragster at SFOG, BGT, SFGAm, WoF, SFOT, and CGA... Does that not instantly become the longest line at those parks by a wide margin? Does placing those copies across the US decrease the lines of TTD at CP or Kingda Ka at SFGAdv? No because most people aren't traveling from those states to ride TTD or KK
Superbatboy
The only clones I have a problem with are SLCs, like they just subject people to pain. I understand they're cheap to build and easy to maintain but why torture your guests?

Henry M
I simply ride bad clones to get the credit. So the riding roller coasters hobby is not about fun, it is about pain, just so you can boast and say you have 500 coaster at credits.

gerstlaueringvar
Well back then most coasters were still painful. SLC is cheap, compact, reliable, high capacity, has 5 inversions and Vekoma has excellent after sales team. Most GP back then didn't really know what a smooth coaster is anyway. So yeah I can totally see why SLC was everywhere back in the 90's and early 2000's.
