mjollner
Awesome to see Jack improving so fast! The last 3-4 updates have all brought a big smile to my face. And so good to see the thumbs up and the nod when you say he'll want to remember this later... He's been out cold for such a long time, and even tho I imagine he's far from wide awake due to weakness and heavy sedation... He still has his spirits. robbalvey
^ Thank you! To give you all an update on Jack... Along with the daily updates we do on the GoFundMe (www.gofundme.com/jackcrouse) I can tell you that while he IS getting better, there is still a long road to go. He has been moved from one intensive care unit to the other, a slightly less serious IC unit, but still in ICU. He cannot talk yet due to the trach tube in his throat and he still requires a feeding tube that runs through his nose and down to his stomach to get nourishment. He's in better spirits as he's not drugged up as much and each day he seems to be doing incrementally better. His lung X-Rays are still showing signs of improvement, slowly, but there is still a ways to go. He is on day 49 in the hospital which will have a significant impact on his family. If you have not yet donated to his GoFundMe, please click the link above, or you can also purchase some of the poster sized photos from Jack we have made available here: http://www.themeparkreview.com/store/index.php?categoryID=4 Thank you for your support! TBpony414
Just saw the latest video from Jack. Robb, thank you for posting it! A couple weeks ago he was in such critical condition that we didn't know if or when he'd be able to talk. The rapid progress recent is incredible. Jack, you are such a fighter and an inspiration to everyone!

robbalvey
So a couple of quick updates on Jack which you can read in full on his GoFundMe page: https://www.gofundme.com/jackcrouse Jack has now been able to start using his hands a bit more and has enough strength to hold his phone and scroll through updates! I even got a text from him today! That being said, there is still a long road of physical therapy recovery ahead of him. Here's a video from a few hours ago where he is trying to stand up: If you haven't donated yet, please consider doing so. He will still be out of work for quite some time. robbalvey
Also, an update on Jack Crouse prints! Since no one seems to like "the hat" we have lowered the price to $40: http://www.themeparkreview.com/store/index.php?productID=218 We still think it's a GREAT photo: And for those of you who want a keepsake of Epcot's Maelstrom, we've added this photo here: http://www.themeparkreview.com/store/index.php?productID=220 All of Jack's other photos are still available here: http://www.themeparkreview.com/store/index.php?categoryID=4 Edited April 30, 2016 by robbalvey
Nrthwnd
I couldn't resist and bought me the Maelstrom poster. I love the simple and serene look of it, in the evening with the lighting on. And again, Best Wishes to Jack (and all his family and close friends), for a continuing of improved health, getting stronger and stronger.
robbalvey
Wow! Jack Crouse was doing amazing today. His feeding tube is out, he passed his swallow test, and he's able to eat and drink again! He's able to talk much better and his whole demeanor is back to the Jack we know & love! I cannot believe how far he's come in the last couple of weeks! He still has lots of physical therapy ahead of him as he still cannot walk and doing things like holding his phone is still limited, but he's getting there! We are still posting daily updates to his GoFundMe! Please check them out: www.gofundme.com/jackcrouse Great to see you smiling and laughing again, Jack! ps. You can still buy his photo trips here: http://www.themeparkreview.com/store/index.php?categoryID=
