maverick4795 Posted November 15, 2015 Author Share Posted November 15, 2015 UPDATE: So I was a bit stumped with what to do next, I want to put in a motorbike coaster themed to the raptor chase but am unsure about the layout, theming etc. but anyway, here are the latest additions to the park: Main Street Main Street is looking very different - Samsung Innovation Centre Superstructure is (superficially) finished - Monorail Building is mostly complete - Ben & Jerrys seating area complete - Additional Fences for theming on side streets - Vegetation added Gentle Giants Petting Zoo Dimorphodon Spin is a new flat ride in the Gentle Giants Petting Zoo area - New Flat Ride 'Dimorphodon Spin' - New Food Outlet on lake front Triceratops Territory View across the lake at the new drop tower; "Diplodocus Drop" - New Drop Tower 'Diplodocus Drop' Current Ideas (not put into the park yet) Main Street - Walking With Dinosaurs type Amphitheatre - Underwater Observatory - Arcade Tyrannosaurus Kingdown - Tyrannosaurus launched coaster Old Park - Visitor Centre - Jeep Safari Ride - Helicopter Tour Ride Restricted Zone (This is the renamed version of Gallimimus Valley) - Indominus Rex Food Outlet Raptor Country - Potential Name Change - Raptor Run Motorcycle Coaster Triceratops Territory - Gyrosphere Ride (probably a robot arm rollercoaster if I can't find a gyrosphere CTR) So if you have any input please feel free to suggest rides/names/themes/CS/CTRs/other parks or rides you think i should look at for inspiration/literally anything! maverick4795 Posted November 15, 2015 Author Share Posted November 15, 2015 UPDATE: A redesign and refit of Indominus Rex has taken place, a station building more accurate depicting the Indominus Rex Paddock from the film has been built and less steep lift hill has replaced the steep lift hill from the original layout - also a Wingrider Catwalk has been placed on the lift hill and the brake run towards the end of the ride. maverick4795 Posted November 16, 2015 Author Share Posted November 16, 2015 UPDATE: I have finally come to the conclusion of what the Raptor Area will be called based on what its called in the films: Presenting... RAPTOR RESEARCH ARENA The Raptor Research Arena from above - in the top right is the overflow queue. The Raptor Research Arena will have only one ride; The Raptor Run Motorcycle Roller Coaster and will be the smallest area of the park, only incorporating the arena building while the rest of the area will be allocated for Raptor Run's layout and a small eatery area. Looking into the incomplete Raptor Research Arena Substantial vegetation will be placed around the Arena to give the look of a dense jungle, support buildings (built from Containers) will be located near the lake and will provide casual dining for the area. Also... Indominus Rex's rebuild is pretty much complete, new support structure, new station and queue building and a more realistic lift hill have been completed. The Break run It has 9 inversions. Also need some ideas for the Mosasaur Cove Waterpark; names for the wave pool, lazy river and the 3 planned slides. Any additional ideas or suggestions are welcome.
