jedimaster1227
^Tyler, don't bring your phone on this one. They say that movies can be more intense when translated in Spanish... I can't imagine what the ride would be like!
SharkTums
Is this finally confirmed? I know it's been the rumor for QUITE some time, but I'd like to know if it's for sure...and if it is, when is it supposed to open?
larrygator
^I can't find any confirmation, yet. I know it was only added to rcdb in the past two weeks, since that is when I last checked the "new for 2009" page. Let me know if you want me to lock my own thread. Miltonmx
¿Por qué tan grave? That's spanish for 'Why So Serious?' Saludos desde México! Well, the word "Grave" is usually used to express a critical situation... just a cultural comment. About the new coaster, there is no official announcement, but there are different clues. 1st, clue: Work at the site. at the montanarusa.com forums are several pictures showing work near the "Rueda India" (A Ferris Wheel), and the station of the defunct "Tren Santa Fe" (A Train): http://montanarusa.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5523&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=105 2nd. "The economical situation won´t affect the growing plans for Six Flags México. Next Week (This Week) Six Flags CEO Mark Shapiro will visit the park to present the new investment program and the new atracctions for the park." If there´s something new, I´ll tell you! Miltonmx
^HAHA! Great find!!! To our Mexican Coaster Peeps...when does Six Flags Mexico usually open new rides? Early in the season like March, or more for main Summer? Well. Usually the new rides and atractions are opened for "Semana Santa" (2 weeks that usually are given for vacation on March and/or April) That´s the most crowdwed weeks for the park in the year. But sometimes, external situations change the plans for the park, and important atracctions have opened in different Months. For Example: Medusa CCI Wooden Coaster- Opened on June caused by a delay on construcction process. Superman El Ultimo Escape Chance-Morgan Hyper Coaster - Opened on November caused by a 2 year delay for political and corruption reasons. Maybe this coaster will no be offically announced soon to avoid the same political problems, and maybe on January or February when the construcction is more advanced, they decide to announce. JuanSe_Colombia
¿Por qué tan grave? That's spanish for 'Why So Serious?' The right traslation will be ¿Por qué tan serio? As someone else said before grave is just use like for a critical status. I'm from Colombia by the way. traincrossin
With all of the less than satisfactory responses from the current Dark Knight coasters, I wonder if they will bump up the theming this time or just let it be. JimmyBo
HOLY CRAP! I might actually have a reason to go to Mexico rather than drugs and cheap booze! Since AZ does border Mexico I might as well take a trip down there sometime next year in my busy schedule. Thanks for keeping us up-to-date and posting the official announcement. montezooma
^ take another hit dude....Mexico may border AZ, but Mexico City would be a long a$$ drive for you. That's like living in San Diego and going to Oregon cause it borders CA.

Only time will tell. I think it was mentioned a while back that people may not be so critical of the ride there. Though it would be nice to see them add everything that is supposed to be there and not leave stuff out at the last minute like they did at Great Adventure. Miltonmx
new for 2010...we are selling the park just kidding...well hopefully is a coaster or some other nice type of ride for sfm lol Well actually, there is a big theory about it. Before Shapiro arrives to the company, the directors of Six Flags Mexico travelled to Magic Mountain to ride Tatsu and other coasters. They caw and compared all the coasters to see which kind of coaster fits better to SF Mexico. The rummors told that the first B&M coaster for The park and the country, was on the designing process. Then Shapiro arrived, and we know the rest of the story. No one knows what happened with the proyect, but maybe the answer can be given at 2010. Well... NOW HERE ARE THE NEWS!!
