[NL2] PPAR-Rides company

Welcome to PPAR-Rides!

We have new, exciting concepts for different sorts of rides.

PPAR is an abbreviation of:

Premium Park Attractions RY, but also is a reference to the Swedish word peppar which means pepper, which is the surname of the founder of the company founder, Kari Pepper.

 

Here's our very first concept, the PPAR Floorless Vertical coaster!

The new concept offers a vertical lift hill, a beyond vertical steep drop, and this testing layout is meant for showing multiple of the signature features of the new concept attraction. In this picture you can also see the forceful steep turn that is sure to satisfy the bravest of thrill seekers!

In addition to forceful speedy turns, loops and barrel rolls, the FV coaster offers airtime. Airtime is a signature feature of our new coaster concept.

And of course, our all new signature Double Spine track. This double spine shape allows for more complex inversions and twists with less supports needed.

 

With building this ride, we encountered a few issues. First of all, we found that the first turn was too forceful, and we were forced to make the chainlift slightly more grabby so that the train would linger in a vertical position slightly before plummeting down. The speed on the ride is very high in all elements which also meant reinforcing the track leading to the creation of our double spine track. The very last issue we faced was that due to the cars on the trains being floorless, the riders legs were swinging about a bit too much for comfort, but that was solved by adding special leg guards that stop peoples' legs from swinging side to side too much.

 

UPDATE:

 

We have also added our new and improved rollback prevention system! It seems that the regular click-system for the rollback prevention wasn't enough. It can prevent a rollback but because it is close to impossible to make a safe way to climb down from a vertical lift hill, we had to apply a new brake system onto the lift hill. This way, if the train has to stop during the vertical part of the lift, the cars catch for the anti-rollback can be disabled and then it will be slowly brought down to the pre-lift brake section safely, so people can then leave.

Also, at the very end of the lift, there are more brakes and drive tires so that the car can in case of an emergency stop be brought back to the vertical part so that it doesn't collide with a train if one is at the last block.

Sounds interesting, but I have no idea what it looks like. For some reason none of the photos are showing up. They are all just coming up as black boxes. I tried refreshing the page, closing the page, reopening the page... nothing worked. Not sure whats going on.

 

I do wish I could see this though.

The coaster is looking good! My only complaint is on the brake run, you have drive tires, even though the track is sloped downwards. I feel like if you were to take the drive tires off it would look, and act more realistic. However, that's just a minor thing and other than that the coaster looks great! I like the way you used different type of track with different types of trains to give the coaster a more unique custom built feeling.

PPAR-Rides introduces: ShotsUPP

 

A four side drop tower, with 4 seats per car

But we put a little twist on it...

You dont just shoot up, you shoot up, and then you look straight down!

The separate tracks can be activated in separates,

for racing between 4 or 2, or you can make them go as singles.

(singles would decrease wait times)

The towers can be built anywhere from 60-90 metres tall. (our example is 90m)

The launch and braking is achieved through linear induction.

PPAR-Classic~

 

 

Today we'll take a trip back through memory lane and think of the past...

 

Before we made any coasters or any of the stuff we've presented thus far,

we pretty much just made a bunch of small scale kiddie rides and one family coaster,

but something clicked, and we started working on our first mass producable

coaster model, and we simply named it the Classic.

 

Comparable to maybe a Vekoma Boomerang in the sense of a mass producable

shuttle coaster, but by experience very different.

 

We used a similiar track style to Maurer or Premier in the Classic, and long trains

with four seats per car, and tight lapbars.

It didn't get very much popularity, specifically because the second model we installed

had killed somebody in a poorly managed park, but it did deter future buyers.

 

But we did not give up! We continued to make coasters and you see that in some of our products!

 

So we want to show you our Classic.

The coaster begins with going up a spike backwards on a lifthill.

After which you zoom past the station and through a unique pretzel shaped element, you can hit 4g in this part!

After that you go on a banked curve towards the second spike

And you go up the spike afterwards you do it all again backwards!

PPAR MOUSE

 

Usually wild mouse style coasters tend to be quite similiar, and lack that much flexibility.

They might even be a bit painful, don't you think?

In our tradition of going outside the box, here's our new product.

 

*please note this layout shows the extreme maneuvers the coaster style can do, a proper layout may have regular drops and turns*

 

So we introduce to you the PPAR-Mousecoaster.

Combining thrills and compact size, with comfy g-forces and unexpected turns,

we've pushed out our newest product.

Seated in one car trains with a 2 row 2 seat/row placement with comfortable yet tight lapbars,

you're sure to have the freedom you need to experience the full coaster.

PPAR - ThrustCoaster

 

 

Since the introduction of the Classic quite a while ago, we had gotten a request for a similiar trackstyle but with a different layout.

 

So we allowed that, but we thought, wait a minute, let's work with this!

 

What we ended up with was our first launch coaster, ThrustCoaster.

 

PPAR is proud to present a new product with up to 4g acceleration at a LIM powered launch to over 75mph!

 

The whole purpose is to quickly get pace and then keep up this pace until the very end of the ride, to keep you in your seats and thrilled.

 

We present an example layout that includes our new element, we call it a "hook roll", that towers far taller than many other coasters out there!

 

It is sure to leave an impact and a big grin on anyone's face who dares go on it!
