larrygator
I came across a magazine article stating that this is one of the better factory tours in the US. I wish I had known about this two years ago when I had a day to kill in Jax [/url]http://sallycorp.com/company/tours.htm sorry if I messed up the hyperlink
Erik Johnson
WOW! Very cool, I had no idea that the Sally company was in Jacksonville. Next time I am in that part of town I shall take a picture of the building. Im always very busy in Tuesdays and Thurdays, maybe sometime next year Leanne and I shall take a tour. Or maybe they will give me a special tour on a Wedesday if I tell them I am doing a report for TPR...hmmmmm. BarryH
While in Jax, there's a Wacky Worm coaster at a water park. They seem to let adults ride it. Ride it for the credit!

There's a water park in Jax? As big of a city Jacksonville is, there is very little to do there except the zoo. Unless you count sitting on Blanding Ave. for an hour trying to get onto the beltway as fun... Ok I now know where the waterpark is, it must be kinda new, but all I have to do is hop on 95 North from 295 and turn right onto JTB until I reach the beach. Well maybe I shall do that some weekend. Though is a Wacky Worm a powered coaster?

BarryH
^^It's called Adventure Landing and it's at Jacksonville Beach: http://www.adventurelanding.com/jbe/ They proclaim to have the only permanent coaster installation in NE Florida. But it's only a Wacky Worm!
chauncey
That's kind of sad. Somebody should rebuild The Beach Coaster! If only I had a few million...
