Nrthwnd
^ Ooooo I remember seeing those dioramas available in Disneyland, when we were there last fall. And I totally forgot to get one. Same goes for that awesome light-up Doom Buggy! I think there was an outdoor stall to the left of the exit door of the ride. And I blew right past it. Please be sure to show the diorama, when you've put it all together, plplplplease Chuck?
pakossa
Besides all the CoasterWorld and Rollercoaster! magazines, I also have At The Park and Theme Park Online mags (remember them?). Was thinking of putting at least the latter up for bid on eBay one of these days. (Wonder if there's a market for those.)
Nrthwnd
^ I have over three decades' worth (in boxes) of past issues of Disney News, and have wondered the same thing, from time to time. Great articles and information (and photos!) about upcoming attractions, was the way they used to do it, through this magazine. The Magic Kingdom Club is a whole other story, lol. I still have the membership cards! The Summer 1977 issue. In Disneyland. Two years after WDW's opened.
Nrthwnd
CoVid-19 has prevented some TOMICA Tokyo Disney Vehicle releases from happening. Until lately. Bought myself two Disney vehicles on eBay. One is for the 37th Anniversary of TDLR this year. In the form of two of Alice's TEA CUPS! One with Mr. and Ms. Mouse, the other with Donald and Daisy on it. The other is the 2020 EASTER version of TDS' Transit Steamer Line. With Mickey and Minnie on it. Happy me. I don't think they make music, though. I don't think. Easter's come and gone. But the TOMICA lives on. (o;
Nrthwnd
....and continuing along..... Tokyo DisneySea has just released a new candy case that was to be for Easter this year. Nonetheless it's available now, thru eBay...and of course, I bought myself one, LOL! Great thing is, all the bunny-chicks are riding rides, including a coaster car. I think. bert425
Just picked this up!!! (they also had Donald driving Casey Jr. Engine, Donald on a Matterhorn Bobsled, and a solo Mickey, as part of the 65th Anniversary 1st wave. But passed those up). I was *thisclose* to picking up the Haunted Mansion with Butler box set. . but I didn't like the look of the figure, so passed. but this? yeah, Band Leader Mickey w/ Sleeping Beauty's Castle? Nrthwnd
^ Looks great! I checked out other POP!town sets thru Amazon, and they all look really nice, including (most of) the figures with them. Did you buy this locally, or get it online (like Amazon) perhaps? And the all-important (to me) question: Do you take it all out of the box, and display it? Or keep it as is, like I do for several things I collect? I display some of my stuff as they come in their packaging. Like my TDLR Tomica vehicles, in their boxes. For now. Just curious of me. New "2020 Summer Pirates" TDS Transit Steamer, I just bought on eBay.
bert425
I bought it at a local comic shop (who apparently opened their case and put them out early, since weren't supposed to be on sale until this week (Sept). . which would explain why they had them all available when I was there on Saturday). I actually commented on the Disney stuff, and the guy behind the counter mentioned that these are usually only exclusives at Disney stores. . .but since the Pandemic, other shops were allowed to order them. So I suspect they will be avail. on Shopdisney. com . . . . and I don't open the Funkos, since they aren't articulated. So I just display them in the boxes. Taylor Finn
Bert, I have a very, very similar Chocolate Crunch tin. It is my favorite souvenir of the trip and was super affordable. Best believe I would be grabbing some more when I return.
bert425
hard to see in those pics, but as you'd expect nothing less from Disney? the wrappers are stamped with "Tokyo Disney Resort" and Purple Pumpkins. a fun little Halloween bonus!
Nrthwnd
^ With Tokyo Disney Resort, they seem to cover everything when it comes to souvenirs (and food/drink too) branding, lol.
Sachaparcs
Hello everybody. I'm just new on this forum and I would like to start about sharing with you some items from my little collectibles about theme parks. And I will begin with something that making the hapiness of Ebayers here (unfortunately...) : limited editions of Disneyland Paris attraction's keys. The first one is about the Tower Of Terror (1928 copies) The second one is about Pirates of the Carribean (1927 copies) Then it comes Alice’s Curious Labyrinth (1992 copies) And now, the most crazy ride of the west Big Thunder Mountain (1979 copies) Let's go to a galaxy far far away with Star Tours (1987 copies) Let's down with something a bit more spooky, Henry Ravenswood (aka The Phantom) from Phantom Manor (1860 copies) And her daughter Melanie (999 copies - This one was pretty hard to get, there was some altercations between guests at the opening) We continue with Ratatouille : L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy and a new system of online reservation now for buy it (2014 copies) And the last one till today, Time Keeper from the defunct Visionarium attraction (1992 copies) We are waiting also keys from the Nautilus and Space Mountain : De la Terre à la Lune but you know... 2020 happen... A last one out of series about Mickey's 90 I've also the 2 boxes and medal from the 25th anniversary of Disneyland Paris but they are too big for my white box. So maybe next time if you are interested.
Jew
Those are great! Ive recently added the McDonald’s happy meal toys and the newest tomica ride vehicles from Tokyo to my collection, in addition to finally starting to unpack my funko collection. Still waiting on a bunch of funkos to be delivered (65th anniversary, Walt with castle, mansion stretching portraits, mansion maid...)
Nrthwnd
^ Great looking ongoing collection, Joey! And is that a TOMICA TDS Soarin' ride vehicle there, on a shelf? Or not? It looks very nice.

Not tomica, but they had a toyset that features the ride vehicles plus Mickey, Minnie, and Donald in aviator costumes: I bought the whole set just for the ride vehicle
Nrthwnd
Tokyo Disney Resort and TOMICA are really starting to up the numbers in the TDR Ride Vehicle Collection! They've just released toy sized versions of Pooh's Hunny Hunt vehicle, and Big Thunder Mountain's main engine + a ride/mining car. Now they've just announced two more attractions' vehicles to be released December 23rd! Toy Story Mania and Ride & Go Seek! cars. From the photos shown, I am hoping, like the Haunted Mansion Doom Buggys, they are being sold in pairs. Check with eBay for these if you can't go to Japan....which of course presently, we can't. Pooh's Hunny Hunt "under glass". (o; Big Thunder, with a couple of missing mine cars. You get only one. Toy Story Mania. Woody's image is on both. And, they rotate! Monsters' Ride & Go Seek! cars. They rotate around, too! (o:
bert425
^ those are absolutely being sold as "pairs" get two boxes, if you want a real "train". .Like I did with the doom buggies!
Nrthwnd
^ I would buy two boxes (or more) of them, if I could afford it. But I can just afford only one box of each different pair, etc. And that's fine with me. Having at least one box of them, is cool. Your little Doom Buggy train looks neat, by the way. EDIT to Add: You should make a small shoe box sized display for them to "travel through," maybe using black light paints, etc. MORE EDIT to Add: Actually, I could just link up all the ride vehicle pairs together, or mix them up, for a really "Odd~OmniMover" attraction, LOL!
