There was the wooden mobius coaster in La Feria park, Mexico City. Montana Rusa. It had two "tunnels" through the wooden structure with no more than wood panels on either side of the walkway. And if you stayed there for a few minutes, at least one train would come roaring overhead. I don't know if this would count, among steel coasters, but it was the one I remembered. Thats what I was gonna say! lol Being able to walk on that path and watch some cycles from directly beneath it made a huge impression on me.
