_koppen Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 (edited) There's a new park/marina under construction in Turkey. The people from Vialand is reported to be behind this new park. The opening is to take place in 2015/2016. Coastersandmore, who is a very reliable source, states that this park will have a 45m tall clone/resembles of iSpeed, which is totally awesome if it's true! Turkey is sure turning into an Intamin country Here are some photos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-dPrw0d614 More as I find out! Source Source Edited September 6, 2015 by larrygator

Gutterflower Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 oddly the videos all show a rendering of Wicked from Lagoon I was wondering if the red stuff on the pier in the photo in the first post is actually track? but don't think it is.
MagnumFreak25 Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 (edited) Wasn't Wicked designed in house? Edited March 4, 2015 by MagnumFreak25
_koppen Posted March 4, 2015 Author Posted March 4, 2015 Parkworld Magazine have confirmed the Intamin LSM ride, so it's legit. I assume the Zierer ride is just for marketing.
gerstlaueringvar Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 That's a great news! I certainly hope that Wicked clone can be true, Lagoon and Zierer can make a deal about selling Wicked clones right?
_koppen Posted March 26, 2015 Author Posted March 26, 2015 Woho, I did not except the ride to be done when I clicked on this topic!
gerstlaueringvar Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Without all the updates following this project, it's like Intamin and IKEA cooperated and build this in hours!
rcjp Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 ^Haha! True. I was very surprised to see this built quickly.
GwaziBSRider1 Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Damn! They really did built this thing quick! All I need is for this and that 10 inversion coaster in Ankara to open, and I'm going to Turkey!
DJeXeL Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 (edited) Oh my lord that is gorgeous. Edited April 16, 2015 by DJeXeL
_koppen Posted April 16, 2015 Author Posted April 16, 2015 That looks awesome! Maybe the supports are a bit on the darker side, but still awesome! I have never liked the asymmetrical top hat of iSpeed, but it's really grown on me lately..
I305forever Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 ^^^ Damn that's one fine looking coaster. Are they to get any others? In the first two photos I saw a coaster that looked nothing like this, but didn't see this one.
Gutterflower Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Turkish news is reporting that the ride is also called Red Fire which is kind of amusing.
I305forever Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 ^ Well it seems like they are begging for an Intamin vs. Mack battle.
A.J. Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 ^ Well it seems like they are begging for an Intamin vs. Mack battle. More like a "Marina Park vs Europa Park" battle, if they even care.
rcjp Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 ^That's great! I haven't tried those yet but they seem more comfortable than OTSRs.
gerstlaueringvar Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 That seems to have the standard new generation Intamin Multi-Looper lead car as well
