halltd
I was watching Property Brothers At Home tonight and the oldest Scott brother JD said he was doing a new theme park show. It appears to start on Dec 18th on Great American Country and is called All-American Amusement Parks. Here's a link to the shows website. http://www.gactv.com/gac/shows_gcaba/
GCI Wooden
It's already started, I've seen an episode. It isn't the best show, but it's better than Bert The Conqueror (That show was horrible). It has an "enthusiast" show the Property brother around the park. At least we have a new coaster-related show! I'm still a firm believer that TPR should do a show, but this works for now.
robbalvey
I'm still a firm believer that TPR should do a show We do! It's called our YouTube channel!
parkjunkie
Well in the pictures on their website, they may want to do better research.... they have a picture of Noah's Ark in Wisconsin Dells and labeling it as Mt. Olympus. How dare they slander Noah's Ark like that!
Rollercoaster Rider
I've seen the show and it works alot better than Insane Coaster Wars (Sorry Robb) and about on par with Extreme Waterparks (Though that show gets repetitive focusing on Speed Slides and not much else) But I still miss the Discovery Channel Thrills, Chills, and Spills shows back in the day. SharkTums
Actually I was supposed to do this show as one of the 'enthusiasts' but it was getting more and more off topic and delayed and crazy so I turned them down.
DonGeorge
But I still miss the Discovery Channel Thrills, Chills, and Spills shows back in the day. I love watching the old Extreme Rides specials, or stuff similar to that.
Cyrbuzz
Those Discovery Channel shows were the best. The one on Funhouses was one of my favorites since you don't see too much on that type of park attraction. I wish Discovery would get back to the great programs they used to do instead of these brainless reality shows. Reality shows have really killed good television. Sharman19
One thing that makes me cringe is the facts on AAAPs. They said that Twisted Typhoon went 95 feet per second, and it travels at 64mph. When it really travels at 47mph. They even said that it had 7 inversions! (I didn't know SLCs had a cobra roll!(That was sarcasm))
VF15
I've seen a few episodes of this show already. I guess it's okay. I'd probably consider on par with Insane Coaster Wars. They do show some nice parks and great rides, but you can tell that some of the "enthusiasts" on this show are really GPs. I know that these shows are meant for the GP more than enthusiasts, but still, you think they'd choose people that are slightly more knowledgeable about the coasters. Although, I noticed in the segment about Busch Gardens Williamsburg that someone might have given a shout-out to Robb. The guy that was riding Griffon with the host said "I feel like Robb. I feel the rush of air, and I let out a scream." I wonder if he's a user on this site.
