Orlando first week of December

My family and I are headed down to Orlando today! We have been many times and will do the four Disney park and two Universal parks. This will be the first time we are there for the holidays. We will do Mickey's Very Merry Christmas, Candlelight Processional, and Osborne Lights.

 

1. Anything we should be sure to check out for the holidays/any tips regarding MVMC?

2. Suggestions on how to navigate the Wizarding World (planning to start the day at Diagon Alley)?

3. My mom is in her 60's and isn't good with be jostled around too much. How rough would you say Escape from Gringotts is? She is fine on Big Thunder Mountain, Spiderman and Transformers. The Mummy would be too much and she found Forbidden Journey to be a little tough.

4. Be Our Guest! We couldn't get a reservation. Has anyone tried the cancellation line?
