rosscoe
Hong Kong Disneyland was wonderful, a real surprise of a park, while Tokyo Disney Resort has my two favorite rides, Poohs Hunny Hunt ( Hong Kong has a watered down version ) And Centre Of The Earth, Hong Kongs new Grizzly Ruanway Mine Train and Mystic Manor are stunning new rides that are both thrilling, themed like no other, and a crap load of fun. Â Grizzly would have to be the best coaster Disney has done period! Everything about it works, Mystic adds a whole new spin on the classic dark with with amazing special effects, a great story line, and depending on where you sit a different ride. Â Adventureland was themed out of this world, sadly not at lot there, Lion King show, Tarzans Treehouse and a river Cruise, really nothing to see. Â Toy Story Land had the longest lines of the day. Â Tomorrow land was the standard mix of rides from all other Disney Parks, Fantasyland was busy, and with the new ride coming in the next year or so, plus the announced Iron Man ride, this park should be on the list of any Disney Fans must do list A Passage To India! Evita? Pretty Squeeze me in, Damn it I will be a princess!
rosscoe
The park was not very busy on the Sunday, most things had less than 20 minute waits, Toy Story rides had the longest waits at over 60 minutes. My Best Score Ever Nothing To See, Really nothing to see

azza29
Great pics, Ross. Hong Kong Disneyland might not have the same quantity of rides as the other "Magic Kingdom" parks, but what's there is (mostly) pretty good quality. Grizzly Mountain is definitely my top pick of the Disney coasters, and Mystic Manor has some impressive practical effects. Once Iron Man and that other new ride go in it should be a solid full day park.
rosscoe
Aaron, I was surprised how much I like the park, we spent nearly nine hours in the park and could have spent more, i will post some photos later today of the new Paint The Night parade and the Castle fireworks shows. rosscoe
Paint The Night Parade is sold on the idea that guest can buy a Paintbrush, Ears or a Mickey Glove that changes color in time with show, and at one point the parade stops so people can Paint The Night , it sadly doesn't work as well as Disney hopes, unless you have a performer in front of you ( within a couple of feet ) the paint brushes don't work. It was kinda sad seeing kids waving there paint brushes and nothing happened. Those close enough, the effect was really impressive.

cfc
The parade looks pretty good. I like HKD quite a bit, and would love to go back and check out Mystery Manor (the new Grizzly Mountain coaster is one of Disney's best rides).

Nrthwnd
I would love to see that night light parade! And how were the fireworks, Ross? Last time the TPR tour was there (2012), people were saying the fire works weren't anything special. And I didn't see them, sadly. But these photos of yours make them look pretty good. rosscoe
Bill, the night parade was fun, a little disappointed with how the paint the night stuff worked. It will get better with time. The fireworks where ok as well, if you have seen any thing that Disneyland CA have done than its a little of a let down as well But in saying that the park is great, operations where quick for the day, no pushing or line cutting ( that comes later in Ocean Park ) the can only and will get better in the next few years. rosscoe
Ngong Ping 360 Â Just down from the Disneyland Resort is the 5.8km long Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car, that crosses the island to the Ngong Ping village and temple, as you can see from the photos before, the weather was not our friend that day!
