gerstlaueringvar
I'm more into Cedar Point. I choose a better ride to good theme.
michaellynn4
I usually lean more towards amusement parks with a larger ride selection rather than theme parks. Nothing against WDW, but if I had to pick, I'd definitely go with Cedar Point.
Moose
I'm shocked that both of the responses so far are for cedar point. I guess people really like trash cans!
mightypotato
Hands down, the answer to this is Walt Disney World. Cedar Point may provide thrills, but it can never match the level of magic and all around awesome that is WDW.

DirkFunk
I might have answered this exact question last year with "Cedar Point because I can drive to it and it is cheaper." Which I think I'll still go with that even if Disney World is bigger, has far better hotels, infinitely better food, and is empirically better in most important-to-me categories than Cedar Point and even if I'm feeling a little burnt out on Cedar Point at the moment and haven't been to WDW in 3 years. jimmiemac02
I'm a Theme Park enthusiast so the obvious answer here is Walt Disney World. Unfortunately my parents hate theme parks, and all my friends are broke college students, so I wont be going anytime soon.

Hhappy
theming for me
thrillrider
I have to go with Disney World. With 4 theme parks and 2 water parks you can't go wrong. However, I enjoy trash can land (aka cedarpoint) as well. This is like comparing apples to oranges.
VF15
Without a doubt, Cedar Point. I've been to Walt Disney World, and it is not a bad place at all, but I'm a thrills-over-theming kind of person, and Cedar Point has many more thrills than Disney World. Disney does a phenomenal job with theming and no one beats them in that area, hands down, but theming isn't what brings me to a park, it's rides. As long as a park has some thrilling coasters and flats, that should make me the happiest, and Cedar Point caters to that preference much better than Disney World. ernierocker
Disney World Cedar Point is fun and I will defititely go back in the future, but it can't compete with the overall experience that Disney World gives you.
BrianGC
I've got to go with Cedar Point on this one. Disney does a wonderful job in a lot of areas, except for thrills, which is what matters most to me.
Projektion
I've never been to either, so I'm really torn. I guess I'd go with Cedar Point, Since it's got a great selection of amazing thrill rides. VF15 said it best above, I go to a park for the thrills not so much the theming. Meteornotes
Walt Disney World. I'm just not much of a fan of CP. Sure, it has a lot of coasters, but not all of them are amazing, and the atmosphere there is nothing to get excited about. dt
PVA62
I love both but I would prefer Cedar Point for the coasters. I still prefer thrills right now but I always appreciate great themeing and experience like Disney provides.
djcoastermark
For me, I think a lot of it is relevant to where you live, how affordable and how much time you have. Growing up in Ohio, with CP as my home park, I always dreamed of doing WDW. Now that I have lived here in Florida for many years, doing the Disney parks, and haven't been to CP in almost 15 years, I long to go back to CP. To me, both parks offer completely different experiences. Sometimes I'm in the mood for thrills, sometimes the saturated theming of WDW. There's no diffinative answer, it just depends on mood, money and time. So for me, the answer is I'LL TAKE BOTH. I guess that's what makes me a park junkie, I love to visit them all ! ZeroGravity55
I love Cedar Point, and the experience I had there was absolutely incredible. I will go back at some point, but with that being said, I would choose Walt Disney World. I'm more of a "theme park" enthusiast than a coaster enthusiast, so I'll take WDW any day of the week. Stuff513
Walt Disney World for me. Love them both, but give me the theming, immersiveness, and Disney magic any day.
tarheel1231
Cedar Point, because I'm missing some REALLY important credits (Raptor, Maverick, TTD).
ScreaminNewEngland
Cedar Point. I LOVE theming. But I am not a disney fan, so much walking, awfully stupid people and the rides are put of my range now. It's kids oriented, I'll take Universal over disney anyday and surely will take Cedar Point over it.
jynx242
Disney World. I do love the thrills at Cedar Point, but between the two - Disney wins it hands down. It really is the whole package with rides, shows, dining, waterparks, theming, SERVICE and of course villans, characters, princes and princesses. thesman
Cedar point. I am more into thrills and i just had more fun at cedar point and the atmosphere there
coasterchitchat
Cedar Point. It feels more 'relaxed' while Disney World for families kinda feel like a stress time for parents.
