Where Are You Planning to Go in 2015?

Recommended Posts

Definitely:

Six Flags New England

Probably:

Six Flags Great Adventure

Knoebels (why have I not been to this park yet!?!)

Possibly:

Lake Compounce

Dorney Park

Hoping to plan a summer trip to Texas

2015 will be my first year as a graduate; hard to predict what will turn out or where I'll even be.

Definite

Holiwood Nights

One of these 3:

Trip #1

Northeast to ride Boulder Dash at night

Other parks

Trip #2

SFOT, SFFT, Frontier City, WoF and Six Flags St. Louis

Trip #3

WoF, Adventureland, Valleyfair, Bay Beach, Timber Falls, Mount Olympus

I want to find out if any track work is done on Hades 360 during the offseason and how rough it is expected to be in 2015.

If anyone has comments, I'd be glad to hear them. Thanks.

If you plan to ride Boulder Dash at night, definitely do the Haunted Graveyard event! That is the best time to ride it at night since the park stays open until 11 and it gets darker earlier.

Definites: Six Flags New England

Probables: Lake Compounce, Funtown U.S.A., Canobie Lake Park, Edaville USA, Kennywood

Absolutely:

Cedar Point

Michigan's Adventure

Probably:

Kings Island

Six Flags Great America

Waldameer

Kennywood

Conneaut Lake Park (assuming that it still exists)

Maybe:

Canada's Wonderland

The wife and I are planning our official honeymoon to Hawaii next May. This trip will use about half of my vacation days. As a result, we will probably will stay within a day’s drive of Michigan.

My sister just recently moved to New Hampshire for a job, so I might visit some parks in the region.

July Trip: Six Flags America, Kings Dominion, Carowinds, Dollywood, Kentucky Kingdom, Holiday World, Kings Island, Cedar Point, Kennywood.

Im sure we will end up at Coney Island, Adventureland (Long Island) and Dorney Park a few times as well.

I've already booked and paid for a February trip to Orlando. Haven't been to WDW since I was 11 so it's kind of a big deal for me.

FOR SURE:

WDW

BGT

Universal

CW

PROBABLY:

Liseberg

Gröna Lund

Djurs Sommerland

HOPEFULLY:

Lagoon

SFMM

I've been trying to get to Liseberg for several years. More than anywhere else it's the park I most want to visit in 2015.

I think I've got a solid itinerary for my Europe trip next year:

Walibi Belgium

Bobbejaanland

Efteling

Toverland

Movie Park Germany

Phantasialand

Holiday Park

Tripsdrill

Europa Park

Walygator Parc

Since I'm more than likely going to fly over with Turkish Airlines, I'll probably take an extended layover in Istanbul to check out Vialand and a few other interesting parks in the city.

Only thing set in stone for me is SFGAm since it's my home park... Also going to be the first time I've purchased a season pass to any park... So probably means I won't make it there once

I'd really like to get out and about around the Midwest.... Problem is working out trip logistics with friends... It always seems to come up about going to a park, but no one ever has time off from work or cash to do so

Parks on the "possible" list are:

- Six Flags St. Louis (covered on my SFGAm pass)

- Cedar Point (no brainer)

- Kings Island (solid coaster line up. Wouldn't mind taking in a Reds game along the way)

- Holiday World (add-on to a KI trip. Thunderbird has me sold, but would have to convince others since I guarantee they have never heard of the place)

Hoping for anything else is a poke and a prayer in all honesty...
