Mr. Corn
Knotts Berry Farm. I am going to try and be realistic. 2017: Soak City expansion (confirmed). Fiesta Village Face Lift. Monte gets a repaint, a Catwoman's Whip style flat ride gets placed in Windseeker's location. Most buildings get new paint and some extra theming. Xcelerator gets a new color scheme of light pink track and light grey supports (optional). 2018: Knotts Berry Tales dark ride is brought back in the Boardwalk Ballroom. Everybody is happy because everyone loves it. Boomerang is removed 2019: Mystery lodge gets a new script. Soak City gets a small kids water play area. A pipe scream style ride is placed in Boomerang and Riptide's location. 2020: Camp Snoopy expansion. Zamperla Air Race replacing Mexican Hat Dance (tea cups) or Waveswinger. 2021: Gerstlauer family launch coaster. It could possibly replace Pony Express. Yubstep101
Michigan's Adventure 5 year plan 2017:Nothing really, removal of train ride 2018: New path that connects the dead ends of the park, Chance Hyper-GTX in train spot 2019: Waterpark addon, most likely Proslide SKYbox collection 2020: Drop tower in unclear spot 2021: Relocated Vortex from either Carowinds or CGA. LiftThrill
SFFT 5 year plan (2017-2021) 2017: GCI/Gravity Group style wooden coaster replacing Power Surge and interacting with the Boardwalk 2018: Water park expansion of some sort 2019: Flat ride package 2020: Removal of Boomerang (maybe relocate it somewhere) 2021: Mr Freeze Reverse Blast clone replacing Boomerang, going over the flume and train Sadly, the last two aren't going to happen, but one can dream. More likely is more waterpark/flat ride stuff followed by another ~7mil coaster-related investment, maybe a Chance Hyper GTX. ZDT's 5 year plan (2017-2021) 2017: jam more arcade games into the arcade 2018: another small budget flat 2019: a new water slide 2020: take down the creepy buildings on the far end of the lot and the unused parking lot back there 2021: another pocket coaster in that area in the back of the park Again, none of this will probably ever happen because the park has a tiny budget and is already awesome but if they did do that it would be cool. Genx24
GAdv: 2015- Batman backwards, general maitenance and infrastructure updates 2016- Publicly apologize for the the Dark Knight coaster, remove the Dark Knight coaster 2017- Re-open Old Country, anchor it with a new dueling GCI woodie 2018- Build a brand-new coaster within Skull Mountain 2019- Intamin mega-lite/giga on the old safari land behind Ka 2020- Declare bankruptcy Revisiting this old post. Interesting that I kind of got 2015 right. The park did do Namtab and has begun some general maintenance of buildings. New predictions: 2017: RMC T-Rex on old Chiller site 2018: Justice League 2019: Removal of Bizarro, expansion of Safari 2020: Green Lantern converted to floorless coaster 2021: Flats package

RCF
I'll take a jab at this with Lagoon 2017: Hopkins Superflume replacing old Log Flume ride, with relocated entrance on Rattlesnake Rapid's Plaza. 2018: Spider is sold, replaced with a new spinning coaster model from Maurer Sohne of the same name. Dracula's Castle closes. 2019: The entire building holding the arcade and the old Dracula's Castle is rebuilt with a new, modern dark ride with Garner Holt Animatronics and a dark ride system from ART. 2020: A small kiddie ride or two in Kiddieland. Most Likely from Zamperla 2021: New front entrance near Cannibal and the grass field is paved with parking lot and new entrance to parking lot on the north side. Roller Coaster celebrates 100 year birthday with new trains and rename to Pippin Dips. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

Jet Star 2 would be better off scrapped. With the minimum envelope with the current seats, you can't raise your hands at all. So modifying it to allow single riders is almost impractical. Sure, it's a great classic ride, but it's been in the park for fifty years now. It's had a good run.
Rollercoaster Rider
How about modifying any of the coasters to allow single riders in the front or last rows? Also Tig'rr at Indiana Beach allows single riders. My only thought about Jet Star 2 is that they don't want people jumping off Jet Star 2.

RCF
How about modifying any of the coasters to allow single riders in the front or last rows? Also Tig'rr at Indiana Beach allows single riders. My only thought about Jet Star 2 is that they don't want people jumping off Jet Star 2. Because the three rides that the policy is in place for wasn't made a policy because of the way the coaster is designed. It was a policy placed solely by Lagoon themselves, which isn't a big deal at all when you can still ride all three rides. For Tig'rr, the cars on that ride are smaller and seat less people, so for that ride, it probably doesn't need a single rider policy for that reason. Jet Star 2, however, does. It's the same for all Jet Star 2 models that haven't been modified.
