I couldn't get a picture, she hid inside the operator's booth whenever I went by!!!

But yeah, talking to her for 15 minutes or so was probably a highlight of my trip

You forgot to mention WHY everyone was riding that crazy death flat ride. I believe it had something to do with a super hot Danish ride op...

I enjoyed riding that flat. Actually shawn and I were going to ride twice in a row until it stalled and we had to be evacuated.

Sorry for the lack of updates, I was busy moving back to Florida!

Our last park in Denmark took us to the very northern tip of the country, Farup Sommerland! We had a ton of ERT and fun here so I took a bunch of photos, so enjoy the large update!!!

^They let you bring cameras on rides? Even Lynet? Do other parks in Scandinavia do that?

As for the "never in America" trees, they can happen in the US by accident. For example, my friend hit his hand on a tree branch in Maverick's horseshoe roll while holding his hands up. They hadn't trimmed that tree, probably due to the fact that it was closing day.

Of course, then you have the polar opposite, namely the rampant xylophobia (fear of wood) that SFMM seems to have after the Ninja incident.

It's allowed at many parks, or we were permitted during ERT. Always follow the park rules!

I know. I'm used to chain parks that don't let you film under almost any circumstances.

Is the camera thing something related to American bubble-wrapping? Or is it just a large park thing?

Some people shouldn't be allowed to enter amusement parks.

That is so true!

I totally forgot how good Lynet was until this I rode it again on the trip. It was many metric seconds of awesome!

I wish my body didn't go into some insane allergic reaction half way through the day that totally wiped me out! If it wasn't for Elissa and her amazing preparedness/survival skills and having some Antihistamines on hand I don't think i would have made the end of the day!

Great photos again even though there is one photo I wish I didn't see again

I really did like this park a lot, along woth Djurs. And so many other! Just such a great trip.

Can't figure out why my image quality goes way down when I resize them for the forum, but if anyone wants to see higher res I can provide links

Eel anyone?

I've had eel quite a bit in sushi. Its taste isn't outlandish at all. It's like a very moist, tender halibut, and the skin has a texture somewhat like that of a peach's. It's actually really good. You might get a couple of really tiny bones every once in a while, though.

Alright after a week of all the Six Flags nonsense it's time for another update!

Although we just made it to Sweden, our first day outside mainland Europe took us on a long day trip up to Norway and TusenFryd! I have always wanted to ride Speed Monster and Thunder Coaster so I was really looking forward to this visit. On to the photos, and I'll warn you, it's mostly coaster porn today!!!

Like Bon Bon Land, this park is home to one of these new giant ass frisbees.

20.thumb.JPG.10972d6163edd240b0f9cd947143cd58.JPG

The newest addition to the park is a little Western area with a moved coaster from Miribilandia.

21.thumb.JPG.505850bf6ff55e96f8200b0d60bcc498.JPG

It's your standard big roller skater, but ran 2 trains and had the best ops in the park!

22.thumb.JPG.1966297ff9c8944e2ebc1d79cb7ff0af.JPG

I never realized how hilly this park was going to be!

23.thumb.JPG.5b4e7f37ba57e5eb18e3e4928937cd76.JPG

Last up, the tiniest coaster in the world!

24.thumb.JPG.1983d9bf76d2611461d1b060133af45d.JPG

It does actually go up a little bit, cha-ching! :)

25.thumb.JPG.c971e86f59a70ff0b78f959ab46a040a.JPG

A few of us decided to check out the new dark ride.

26.thumb.JPG.9ae2e3bac65e6b24e515d3d9363d6909.JPG

It was the longest wait of the day, but worth checking out I suppose.

27.thumb.JPG.62c0b58e497b344e15eefe7e5d521db7.JPG

The cars are small, but it tries to be like a DarKastle style ride. The scenes and movement were good, but the films and story left a lot to be desired.

28.thumb.JPG.f99df6de24f044481ac902c91b5f4de8.JPG

We ate lunch at some point, and then did a bit of a photo lap around.

29.thumb.JPG.3adacfce5020167410546bab2dd2753e.JPG

Thunder Coaster has some of the weirdest, but perfectly smooth transitions. Thanks Vekoma!

30.thumb.JPG.101bcb7a52e0e79d379c7850f6393cc7.JPG

Now Speed Monster is insanely photogenic.

34.thumb.JPG.d7af27a43acb020d986d926e97ec40cc.JPG

Probably my favorite photo from the day.

Great look at our Tusenfryd day, Jake. I chose to skip Loopen as I already had the credit, but man,

it sounded like quite the (H)experience for you guys, huh? Maybe the new Nightmare attraction

near by, had something to do with all that..... misery? (o;

Something else I noticed, on this second tour visit. The Western Town had been there since our

2009 visit. But nothing more than the 'town.' That was it, back then. But the new (moved) family

coaster is a perfect addition to the area, and now made it all better sense.

Now, if they could just put heavy themeing around the coaster (something prominent, like a

look out tower in the middle of the helixes?), western of course, the area would look even more

awesome than it already does.

Yep, Nightmare's pretty close for a good curse on Loopen. (o;
