Jakizle
Yes, it was her first Disko and she loved it! Too much spinning at that park for me. Where were the pictures of the dead rats?!!? Sadly my camera was left at the bottom of the slide! But no one wants to see pictures of my rolls squeezing out of that thing
rcjp
Nice pictures. For those who rode it, how do these zamperla Giant Discoverys compare to Huss's Giant Frisbees?
cfc
Bon Bon Land tonight? Fail! Jake, you have no honor! You have restored your honor.
azza29
Some great on-ride pics in there Jake - I think I was too nervous to take my camera on anything but the tamest kiddie coasters! I had a lot of fun at Bon Bon Land, including figuring out how to properly unbalance the spinning mouse for a very intense ride. Nice pictures. For those who rode it, how do these zamperla Giant Discoverys compare to Huss's Giant Frisbees? They are fantastic, felt very high and fast and plenty of airtime at the top! Nickstroberg
WOW! what a unique park! Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. For some reason, I've always had a fascination with their eurofighter... I think its that over-bank/dive. How did it handle?
SuperShawn
Such a messed up park that was actually a lot of fun. Oh and that frisbee was awesome!

Jakizle
Update time! Our quick trip down to Germany brought us to Hansa Park. Honestly, this was the park I knew the least about beforehand and wasn't too sure about it and therefore, it was my least anticipated park. Little did I know that it is AWESOME and was probably one of my favorite days!!! On to the photos Welcome to Hansa Park! The park gave us lots of goodies...always a nice touch Printed sign? Yup these guys tried to put on a nice show for us The park is interesting in that the park opens at 9, but the rides open at 10. Also, customer flows for the date each day. Awesome. The park is just beautiful. Our morning started off with the park's awesome indoor/outdoor coaster, Fluch von Novgorod! The queue is creepy... Cool effects And this is all you see before you ride! Impressive theming once the ride begins. Even better? You can ride a slide down the exit instead of taking the stairs. Sexy Gerstlauer track for the nerds The airtime hill provided airtime... And the turns were fun too The solo inversion is nicely done, kinda Cheetah Hunt style. Another round of riders go! The ride did surprise me a bit though. It was fun! Especially the launch was quick and the indoor parts. Once the park opened, we began to wonder. Getting eaten by an animal!!! Nessie was fun and I'll have more pics of it later. Our first drop was the insanely long roller skater. Through the loop! We got a Nessie train to go by as we went through! Next up was the killer mouse, or so we thought. It turns out it has breaks now! We didn't die. Last was the new kiddie coaster...which was awesome! It had a mini dark ride section to start And the theming outdoors was certainly impressive. Doing coaster stuff! Do you think KT liked it? For the nerds, again. One last overview. Just can't believe how nice this place is. Parks look just like this in America, right? Oh yeah, the rare bell ride was running! Didn't have the patience to wait in line though (it was the only ride with one!) More TPR members enjoying the awesome new kiddie coaster. Another park, another giant bouncy thing to kill yourself on. My favorite part is going down. Smells like a new coaster over here The park is kind of on the sea! Germany's only one? We also gave the double bayern curve a courtesy ride. I love slides. How about we cook our own breadstick? BEST PARK ATTRACTION EVER Back to the coasters...thread the loop! This seem to happened quite a lot. Airtime! Take a break for a crepe (see what I did there) But seriously, such yumminess. Cinnamon and bread yo This is what my meal voucher got me. This trip had SOOO much good food!!! We finished the day with a ride up the observation tower. And a look over to the other side. Found these in the gift shop. Awesome! Just kidding, we rode Nessie one more time before heading out. Great day! Next up is LegoLand Billund!!!

BCTom
Ah, that was such a good park, but then again all of them were. Enjoying your trip report!
Nrthwnd
I thought it was funny, to myself, that so many people were getting a bit of "opera" thrown at them in the dark ride section of Fluch. Probably from The Ring Cycle by Wagner too, lol.
XII
Nice Photos Jake. I must admit, Hansa Park really exceeded my expectations, which considering how high my expectations were for the park, really surprised me. Looking foreword to seeing your Legoland Photos. Jakizle
I think all of the ice cream photos are on my phone. Whoops. Should probably check to see what ones I have on there for each park to include in my report. Legoland tomorrow!

Jakizle
Next we moved on to Western Denmark and started our 3 day stay with Legoland Billund! This is the original park and my second Legoland after the new one in Florida. This place (like most parks in the region) is in the middle of nowhere but still gets huge crowds! And I can see why...the park was really nice and had a lot of cool rides. On to the photos! I think this only marks 1/3 of the trip Welcome to Legoland! The Lego figures start outside the park entrance. Yes we are in Denmark! Our day started off with ERT on Polar X-Plorer! Thank goodness we don't have to wait in that. The first train of riders takes off! And here we go! Love the mid ride drop scene!!! First drop fun. This is going to be a kid's ride right? Nope! This coaster had airtime and some fun G's! Airtime curve through the rocks! The ride has a peaceful ending with some Lego animals. You can see most of the attraction from up here. KT approved! Ready guys? Helix fun! It was actually forceful The brake run is next to a penguin exhibit! Take that Antarctica Next up, the park took us to Ghost to be first in line for this new attraction. The queue is a huge walk thru area with some cool scenes! The mirror maze was super long and confusing!!! best one I have done The actual ride was pretty short, but a cute little ride/drop Credit time Typical Lego mouse. Be prepared for a squeeze larger riders! In typical TPR trip fashion, we were handed express passes Dragon time Includes your typical awesome theming and show scenes The ride is pretty well hidden, but fun for what it is. How about a boat ride? The loading dock. Bigger than Disneyland's castle? Turtles! Remind anyone else of Pirates? Just a shirtless guy taking a shower. Time for lunch! Love the lego fries!!! Another wonderful buffet in Scandi They do have an observation tower but we passed The Legoland hotel is right on site, if you feel like selling your limbs for a stay Driving school is such a neat idea. But Sealife is included in admission! They have legos and fish. Winning! Luckily we did not get crabs. Another park, another open fire. The log flume looked rather wet... Thoughts confirmed. They had another unique water ride in the form of a rapids ride with vertical lift and drop. I opted to remain dry Should I go for the 10 scoop ice cream??? Back over at Polar X-Plorer, still looking good. It was time to create a robo coaster ride! Insane flipping in nonsensical directions happens here One last look at the loading area. There was 2, so 8 arms total. Line moved pretty quick! We did use our pass for another ride on Polar X-Plorer. Awesome coaster and I hope to see more!!! It was time for the TPR Fire Academy showdown! The competitors take their marks... and they are off! PUMP PUMP PUMP! The winners... ...and the LOSERS This is Thad. He sucks and so does his trip report. The next round takes their place Run through the gates! Who can pump the hardest? Apparently these guys The rest of our visit was spent with a nice stroll around MiniLand. DONG Not sure which countries these are... ...but they sure look nice. Airplane nerds rejoice... Yup, this is pretty much what Europe looks like. Beautiful. The working water lock elevator thingy actually worked and was super cool. And I'll leave you with one last shot. Thanks for looking! Next up, Djurs Sommerland for some Intamin goodness! StealthFan
Great photos again Jake. I loved Legoland. By far and this park just managed to take a giant dump over Windsor and make it look like crap! I will say even though everyone loves it the Fire Academy almost gave me a heart attack! Polar X-Plorer was just all kinds of awesome and totally surprised me, I really loved that ride. This is my best memory of that day though. "Wake up Jake!"
