Nrthwnd
That was a great spook house to go through. I'm so glad we were allowed to walk through it, as well as riding some of the rides there. That was a happy surprise, for myself. Some great black light stuff in this spook house!

Jakizle
Keep your eyes on this thread! Working on a Sarkaniemmi Update now with tons of SEXY Intamin pictures!!!
Jakizle
After Wasalandia we made our way down to our hotel in Tampere, Finland. It is the 2nd largest city in located right dab in the middle of the country. I quite liked it, very beautiful. The next day we hit Sarkaniemmi, a park I have always been looking forward to. It did not disappoint! Tornado is amazing and the park is very cool. Welcome to Sarkaniemmi! The group piles into Tornado's queue for our morning ERT session. This ride is so photogenic and is looking awesome! Very Volcanoesque station on this one. I like the industrial feel. The yellow train warms us up! And now dayglow train is ready for me! Happy back seat riders This element is OMFG awesome!!! Upside down through the station underground? Yes please. I mean how messed up does this look? Wooosh! One more look. Yellow train needs love, too. We can't all have dayglow. Beware of this creep. Next up, we had ERT on Half Pipe! These are really really fun especially for a group. It was fun changing up rider positions to try and create more spinning. Catching air! The park opened up, and we have to brave some of the remaining credits. Too bad it looks sooo good! The inversions are actually the best part, though. I see the Intamin over there! Like many parks in Europe, there are many messed up flat rides. The new addition was down for the count, but I didn't feel like vomiting anyways. Prepare for lots of photos of Tornado as we waited before lunch. Perfect heartlining! Sooo pretty. Those colors This is what Volcano should have been. Interesting shot. I scarfed down a lot of pizza. It was really good! We headed to the south most point of the park for the Dolphin themed disko! It was cute! KT loved it and the "roller coaster" versions of these are my favorite (I usually skip the U shaped ones) A lot of the group took the speed boat for a ride! No thanks, I was staying dry. We checked out some more of the cute Angry Birds area. Ready to send Soupy back to America! No park visit would be complete without ice cream Guess the flavors! The big playground was awesome. KT definitely approves! I don't know what the hell this is. Another credit! I believe it is the newest one. I'm not a fan of the riding position. And I don't really see the need for this type of ride in a park. But that's just me! A few of us braved the log flume. It was cool with a lot of little drops and speed throughout! Are you tired of seeing this? That color is not photo shopped! Heartlines. Overview. Threading the loop! The first drop is really funky. I like funky. Beautiful. I promise I'm almost done... That shaping! We also checked out the indoor dolphin show. It turned out to be really sensual with the trainers. Usually you have to pay for this type of entertainment. They did do some high flyin' tricks, though! The park also had a large "farm animal" area to walk around. Moooooo #Buttwatch Group nonsense heading up the observation tower. This would be Tampere! Tornado layout The north side of the park... Angry birds land! ...and finally the other side of the park! Goodbye sir Tornado. Now get out, says the angry fish. FINAL update from Linnanmaki soon! Anac0nda
Awesome pics from Särkänniemi! It's always interesting to see the finnish parks through someone else's camera and hear what they think. I'm looking forward to the last update from my home park Linnanmäki, especially your stories from Kirnu (the ZacSpin) as I heard you had some hilarious moments with the balancing! I was working at the Moser drop tower Kingi and it was fun to see some of the faces from this forum!
StealthFan
That moto coaster totally sucked arse! It literally had no redeeming features about it what so ever. But lets not forget the single best thing about the park.......DAY GLOW!
SharkTums
KT could have spent all day in that Angry Birds playground! Love the picture of Chris in the slingshot!
Jakizle
Thanks everyone. This park has really grown on me as I think about it - I quite like it a lot for what it is. I'll work on getting the final Linnanmaki update ready soon so I can finish an entire TPR trip PTR for once!!! Dayglow definitely provided for some amazing pictures. rcjp
Great pics. I've never tried this Tornado, only the one in Madrid and while it was fun it was nothing special (and a little rough sometimes). This one appears to have a more interesting layout, though. For those who've ridden both, how do they compare?
SharkTums
This one is MUCH better than the Spanish one.
cfc
You have to love Tornado for the "day-glow" trains alone; the fact that it's a very good ride is a bonus.

coastercrzyjames
Wow, beautiful photos Jake!! That was such a gorgeous seaside park and fun-filled day! Tornado ERT was so AMAZING, and can't forget about the unusually "rape-esque" dolphin show. Damn I miss this trip and the Scandi culture in general.
