sirchubs33
Damn... I really thought we were going to get something more concrete. I do think it looks like a set of multiple tower rides, though. Should be awesome to see what the new design is that makes it so "revolutionary".
MagnumFreak25
Maybe you get shot up one tower and fall down another. Or maybe It's like those test your strength games where you hit a pad with a hammer and try to light the whole post up but instead of a small tower with lights it controls the height a drop tower launches you too. CPSFMMCW
Man, I'm TIRED of parks teasing us! Can't parks just announce it and be done with it! Is that too much to ask?! Probably...
Evan1127
Damn... I really thought we were going to get something more concrete. We're ready and eager to, but decided it would be better to publicly share the technical details closer to IAAPA. We may be patent pending on it already, but a little more protection can't hurt. A.J.
Looks like a new spin on the Strength Tester attraction (based on the name and artwork). Maybe one group rides, one person hits a target - and the harder the person hits the target, the taller the riders launch to the top of the tower! Midgetman82
^ & ^^ We're announcing the details of Strike-U-Up™ on Monday and I'll be doing an AMA ("Ask Me Anything") on Reddit to coincide with that. Nothing's been released yet. People are just assuming it's going to be blow-your-mind amazing... which it could be, but which one of us here really knows (other than Evan)?! Moose
I hope the actual announcement live up to the hype that the one months ago never delivered on. I get that it was for intellectual rights reasons but it was still a bad move to promise info and only give the name.

robbalvey
New press release today from Skyline Attractions: GamesURide mixes the best of interactive rides and games! Skyline Attractions announces debut product in revolutionary new breed of amusement November 3, 2014 Orlando, FL – Step right up and try your hand at Skyline Attractions’ new GamesURide! GamesURide are the first truly interactive ride-game experiences, allowing you to become a part of your favorite midway games! Recently-formed Skyline Attractions announced today Strike-U-Up, the first of many GamesURide. Grab a friend and race skyward against as many as seven other teams in the bouncy fun of Strike-U-Up! Test your skills... Strike the target that will send your friend bouncing to the top of the 20-foot tower. Reach the top first to win the game, then switch with your friend and do it again! Skyline previewed the Strike-U-Up concept with many industry insiders, and the team has been overwhelmed by the positive response. They said, “We knew we were onto something really big with the GamesURide idea, but the feedback we’ve been getting is beyond what we anticipated. Some people have even commented that this is the next big thing to hit the industry.” Strike-U-Up is a totally new experience that does not exist anywhere else in the world. It is a straightforward concept that anyone can play, and riders only need to be 36 inches tall. It is simple to install and maintain, and requires only one operator. Two models are available. The lower-cost, fixed-site model requires little site preparation and a small footprint. On top of those benefits, the convenient mobile version of Strike-U-Up folds down for easy towing with any Class III hitch and can fit in a standard eight-foot garage. Both styles require a low- capital investment, with the potential to pay off in less than one season and strike up big profits beyond. Skyline Attractions will be showing off Strike-U-Up at the IAAPA Expo in Orlando starting November 18 at booth 3278. “We can’t wait to show you just how fun and profitable Strike-U-Up and GamesURide can be!” Skyline Attractions, LLC is the Orlando-based exclusive manufacturer of Skyline Design, LLC’s GamesURideTM, including patent-pending Strike-U-UpTM. More information about GamesURide and Strike-U-Up, including video and images, can be found online at skylineattractions.com.
