Gutterflower
And finally a third park. This ones been on the cards for ages but it is now apparently about to get going Overlooking the new rocket launch site on the southern Island of Hainan the park will be space themed and called Hainan Space Park. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLDhka4oFNs There are 2 coasters expected including one Maurer spinner. The other is unknown but shows a mine train in the video.
Gutterflower
Another update to the list. New Happy Valley announced for Xi'an. http://xa.winshang.com/news-194430.html and small updates to other parks on the list
gerstlaueringvar
^ I feel sorry for Xi'an, Lewa and Happy Valley can drag down their park taste even further.
Gutterflower
Sorry guys. Been a while since I've fully updated this but the list is now up to date as far as I am aware. Also added the new 7 Kingdoms Mountain Pavilion that was uncovered in the Lewa World thread. Below are the concept images and the image of the Mack Spinner gerstlaueringvar originally posted. Looty
Wow! Many of these new parks are looking fantastic. I'd love to see a map of China with all of these parks and the other 'visit-worthy' parks on it just to get a better idea of just how much is there. Gutterflower
Wow! Many of these new parks are looking fantastic. I'd love to see a map of China with all of these parks and the other 'visit-worthy' parks on it just to get a better idea of just how much is there. How's this? https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=zqgfkpgPaZiw.kLiA--cA1DMY I've sectioned off the major chain parks, colours roughly delineate which ones are open already and which ones aren't. Positions of some of the future parks may not be dead on.

Gutterflower
Has their been any news on that Six Flags park? Nothing yet. It's still moving ahead in Tianjin but i dont think it will appear before 2018. In other news heres some pictures of the new Maurer spinner opening at Eontime World in Harbin. The ride is called Dragon Flight and to me it looks like a very heavily modified SC2000 with an extra section but maybe someone can figure that out better than me
Gutterflower
Mid 2015 Update I have gone through the list and updated it massively. A fair few of the parks are now open including a good chunk of Fantawild's phase 2 parks. In the same time period Happy Valley have announced a load of their phase 2 parks so for the first time in a while there's now more Happy Valley parks than Fantawild parks planned or under construction. Eontime Mall, Romon World and Lewa World are also now all open and have been shifted to the completed section. The first Wanda park in Xishuangbanna is almost complete and due to open in the next couple of months and the Wanda parks in Nanchang. Harbin, Hefei and Wuxi are all now vertical. Interestingly almost all the parks are going up hitch free so far. The 2 exceptions are Huayi Brothers Movie World and Hainan Space World which seem to have stalled. However there's no sign of the boom slowing down yet with even more parks on the horizon so keep an eye out here for more.
Gutterflower
Happy Valley Chengdu recently released a survey for a park expansion. http://cd.happyvalley.cn/Tourist/survey.aspx The survey included asking about future coaster preferences and includes a wooden coaster, launched coaster and a junior suspended coaster. What's most interesting is the video they include for the launched coaster. Here is the video of a maurer launched x-train coaster. Certainly a unique if low capacity ride. Obviously this isn't confirmation that this ride is coming but it is interesting
rcjp
Looks interesting, but I've always wondered why they don't do these rides with a "normal" brake run, station and launch. Maybe these rides are only meant for smaller parks.
A.J.
I think that's just how Maurer has been doing things lately. That new coaster at Romon World doesn't have any brakes either, it's stopped by the launch motors.

Geauga Dog
The Maurer Flying Launch coasters have the ability to launch the train twice without stopping to re-launch and then, as A.J. stated stop the train by the launch motors. I believe that's how Freischutz (sp?) is run at Bayern Park in Germany.
MARK
Any updates on the Wanda Intamin?
Gutterflower
I'm keeping an eye on it but nothing yet. The Chinese haven't developed a culture of obsessive coaster geeks like us who take photos of all the rides as the go up. It's mostly just news articles which are pretty rare
Nrthwnd
^ Ah, the "old days and ways" of advertising a new coaster. I miss those days. (a little)
Gutterflower
Finally updated the main post at the start of the thread. Added 2 new Fantawild Oriental Heritage Parks Moved Wanda Xishuangbanna to complete as it's now open. Updated status on Wanda Hefei, Harbin, Nanchang and Wuxi Fantawild Zhuzhou status listed as on Hold despite being almost complete but apparently due to start construction again soon. Added Wanda Chengdu
Gutterflower
A new coaster to add to the list this year. Discoveryland (Home to Mad Cobra) in Dalian is getting a Zamperla Thunderbolt like the one found at Coney Island. The ride appears to be the same height although ever so slightly longer (Possibly just conversion errors somewhere or a different station set up) http://rcdb.com/13618.htm This ride never seems to get great reviews but it will sit alongside their 2 headbanger coasters quite well by the sounds of it. They have a plot of cleared land to the right of Mad Cobra which would fit this quite nicely too.
hydra
Found this great list of all the parks of China. Its not mine. Found it while trying to make something similar myself. I like to see things Geo-spatially. https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=z2_C9zJ0zbu4.kIuCmHrUYKHg&hl=en_US
gerstlaueringvar
According to Happy Valley Chengdu's social media, they are building a B&M Dive Machine and a wooden coaster. Source
coasterer
I just noticed that rcdb posted a new B&M for Happy Valley Chengdu, and came here to ask if anybody knew anything more about it. A big B&M dive machine is a solid investment.
RyanTPM
^I don't think much information is known about it as of yet, other than what's said in that source and whats listed on RCDB.
Gutterflower
In what appears to be an attempt to out do Dubai's Palm Islands, China is building the Hainan Flower Island. Most interestingly for us the Island will be home to both a new theme park and a water park. The Theme park is apparently fairy tale themed and concept art suggests at least one big coaster. Satellite images from March 2014 show the Island was under construction then and I suspect its some way further forwards now. Will this project go the same way as many of the Dubai projects have over the years? Only time will tell I guess. This link describes the project (In Chinese i'm afraid) http://news.bb.xafc.com/show-600-17053-1.html
