_koppen
I have no idea how this project slipped by me, but it looks like an amazing project, that is scheduled to open this summer. The whole park will be built by Polin, and it will have a really great group of slides and pools. The park was originally intended to open in 2012, but it looks like it will most definitely open now this summer. Here is the park's Facebook page. Here is an interesting PDF of the park. This concept art show slides from Proslide, but it looks like it has changed since the original plans were made to Polin. Here is some concept art for the slide: Here is an overview of the place. The only thing I don't like is that the play structure will be sized for kids only. More concept art. I was so glad when I found the Dino Water Park project, and learnt that the Polin Magicone would finally be built. Now there is another one, that will open even sooner. The place will also have Polin's first dueling non inverting looping slides, a blaster slide, family raft, sphere slide, bowl slide, boomerang, regular tube slides as well as an standard mat racer. Entrance plaza. The park is well into construction, here are som older photos. Ground work. Some more. Some drilling going on. Preparations for a pool. Parking place preparations. Looks like the ground is not ideal for building a water park, if you want easy construction. More parking place. Some concrete will go here. Parking place is coming together. Even better. Footers. Almost done. From the air. Lazy river. Pouring some cement. Piping is a big part of building a water park. Lot's of pipe. Cool cement truck! Tower going up. More pouring. Lazy river. I'm guessing this is the wave pool chambers. Footers. Pump room? Shiny mat racer pieces on site. Going up. Another angle. This photo will look great in a few months. Sphere slide being assembled. Tower for the family slides. Big ass towers, probably for the family slides. Loop slides! Looks great. Overview. Everything is smooth and shiny. Only the launch boxes left. From the family slide tower. Lazy river work. Family raft slide being assembled. Here are the most recent photos: Family raft going up. Another angle. And another one. If you look closely at the big fall, you will see that it has these vertical stripes. It will be light effects inside the slide, in the same direction you are falling. Very cool feature IMO, and I don't think I have seen that before on a fall slide. Blaster slide. Blaster slide, as well as the sphere slide. The helix's on the loop slides looks incredible tight if you ask me, I hope it dosen't cause any over flip problems. The family slide is almost finished. I can't wait for them to start building the Magicone. Source Edited June 1, 2015 by _koppen
_koppen
Two more photos from today! The worlds first Magicone is about to be assembled! This will be the last big complex of the park. It will be similar to one of my all time favorite Polin complex: Source
_koppen
Time for an update! There have not been to many photos recently, but here are a few: The bowl and boomerang complex is done. Most of the slides are ready for opening, the launch capsules are still missing though. Looking good! The sphere is looking nice and shiny. I asked Polin a while ago if they could do enclosed family slides in RTM and they said yes, I have a hard time to see if this is RTM or not though. What a great sight. Today these pictures popped up. The photos from above are all old, and they have now finally started the construction of Polin's first Magicone (Tornado). I think it will look great! Hope it will ride as great as Proslide's Tornados. Great shot! And lastly an overview. Source
_koppen
Lot's of new photos! The park may open in August, otherwise probably not before 2015. Source
Subject_12
I was kind of hoping that Whitewater would get to building a sphere slide first.
Belgiumcoasterfreak
Looks like a nice new Polin slides complex. I love Croatia (super cheap and oh so beautiful country) and this would be great to combine with a cultural trip...
_koppen
I was kind of hoping that Whitewater would get to building a sphere slide first. Sorry, Polin built the first one already last summer Also the hughmongus new Magic Sphere opening soon in Thailand, which is one of the biggest slides in the world BUT Whitewater is almost finished with their first sphere slide in Australia Source Source
_koppen
The park did a "Cowabunga Bay" and have announced that the park won't be ready until 2015. The park's Magicone, Polin's first Tornado slide, is rising and I think it looks really nice. Source
Midgetman82
Those dual drop slides look like they have a pretty tight radius after the big drop. Might pull some serious g's, unless there's a lot of water to slow you down. Water park looks great though, and I can't wait to hear more about it! Midgetman82
The shape of that yellow funnel looks so... wide! Park looks pretty good though, especially the green slides.

coastercrazy216
I am not gonna sugar coat it, I am a 100% ProSlide fanboy. That being said, I do like other slide makers and I think they all have good products, but Polin's slides are just ugly! Cowabunga Bay is really the only park that has done Polin any justice in terms of attractive slides. Polin's products just look like knockoffs to me. Such odd shapes and colors. I just wonder how they ride.
BugEyed
Construction photos of waterless water parks always look so cool and surreal to me. Oh, and this photo from the previous page is so great I think I may have to put on "Fractal Eternal Wheel" by Ozric Tentacles and stare deeply at it for several long minutes. Working with him at Cowabunga Bay in Draper and watching him redesign the park from what was originally proposed would lead you to believe the same.
