Hercules
I like the new video format but it honestly felt a little to short. Gee, I'm soooooo sorry. I only spent 10 hours at a show interviewing 19 people and editing and rendering until 3am last night. If you don't like it, you're more than welcome to go to IAAPA and make your own damn videos. --Robb "I really hate people, sometimes." Alvey Robb - I loved the video this year. It was packed with a lot of great stuff, and your coverage of the show is so detailed. Great job as always. Besides, the show is like THE SAME EVERY YEAR. Why do people want 15 minute interviews with everyone saying the same things every year?

Jew
More from the floor…make sure you are following along on twitter and Facebook! The S&S 4th Dimension "free spin" coaster. Who wants to ride this? The worlds tallest roller coaster will be built in Florida. But where? What do you think? Orlando? Miami? Tampa? Gotta give WaveLoch Flowrider a shout out! Love their rides! Falcon's Treehouse creates a lot of themed attractions. They recently worked on Sea World's Turtle Trek. Gary Goddard is another big name when it comes to themed attractions. Hello Spider-Man & Monster Mansion! Who wishes this was their view right now? Edited November 20, 2013 by Jew

Hoppy
Thanks for the vid Robb on all the interviews! You even added a little Elissa action on the spinning coaster! Please do NOT choose the 2nd option and stop filming IAAPA due to some people and their complaning. Quick question for you... how come GCI was barely in the edited interview uploaded? (Seemed B&M was bland yet was on cam for all the questions while Jeff had a small segment. Curious is all!) Jeff from GCI always seems to have a great reply to your questions, especially 'Son of Beast' - He loves designing those woodies and likes to chat a lot about past projects and proposals they have but never got to build. Greatdrift
Wow that S&S 4th Dimension "free spin" coaster looks like it would be very intense. Looks similar to the Intamin Ball coasters... I cannot wait to see more about that project.

Ahh, forgot about that announcement. Thanks for what you could get! Jeff is a good friend of mine - roller coasters + fireworks are the two interests we have in common...I'll have to see if he can elaborate on the coaster he always wanted to build with fireworks
yay101
Great videos!! I wonder how the new GG coaster ar StoryLand will compare to Wooden Warrior...
Jew
Even more! Congrats to Six Flags Great_America and Rocky Mountain on the official reveal of Goliath! Some TPR photos at the GCI booth! Some of the theatrical displays at #IAAPA are very cool looking! (That's the idea, right?) Another shout out to our friends at Intamin!
Hercules
Windish has a pretty good act on their label called Junk Rock, who I have gotten to know over the past couple of years at the Pennsylvania Fair Association show. Good group of guys. They will probably get a lot of good bookings from IAAPA.
jray21
More pictures from IAAPA 2013! Such a cool ride. Too bad it only lasted one season. You can't make roller coasters without wheels? Right? Hellllloooooo Mr. Creepy Pumpkin guy! Gotta be honest, these KumbaK SLC trains were kinda comfy! Anyone ridden them in Australia? Love these crazy looking Japanese kids play areas! Wish the USA would get some of these! I admit, we had our fill of Fanta Zero Peach from Coke Freestyle at IAAPA! Technical Park was showing off this flat ride... Thing! Of you need a thatched hut... Well, you can even get one at IAAPA! Wait, what ride is this? Dark ride systems seemed quite plentiful at IAAPA this year. Closer look at that Gravity Group Dino Timberliner train! Looks awesome!!! prozach626
I'm curious. What is everyone's favorite responses from the questions that I asked? "Son of Beast" I lol'd Usually videos like this have a hard time keeping my attention, but this was great. Good format.
rcjp
Those KumbaK SLC trains do look really comfy even thought they also look pretty weird. No headbanging!
Brassinthegrass
interesting that RMC said they wanted to get their hands on "something really long, something that you can enjoy for a while" Could we be seeing a BEAST conversion? Not sure, it's hard to picture them chaining a ride that is loved so much as it currently is...
Hercules
^ Just because they say that doesn't necessarily mean they are talking about a conversion.
prozach626
Walter Bollinger - "We build what we like to build. If you don't like it, go @#%* yourself." It's a really good thing what they like to build kicks some major A$$. I kind of like his subtle confidence. ^ At one time yes. From a business stand point, I think they still do a great job. They build smooth, high capacity, beautiful coasters that the majority of people enjoy. Also, parks love their reliability. From an enthusiast standpoint, I wish they would push the envelope a little more, like they used to, to bring back some more forces.
rcjp
^And the fact that their coasters gradually lost their forcefulness kind of means that the "we build what we like" thing is not so simple. If it were like that, why would they have changed the way they design their rides (from intense and awesome to forceless and family friendly)? That was probably due to park's requests so it's obviously not just "we build what we like".
rolercstrluvr
Saw some Gold Striker love, but anyways i'm loving all of these updates Robb. Maybe one of these days i'll get out to IAAPA and see it all in person. I hope we get to see some more GCI love in the next updates. Question: When will be be starting to give away IAAPA bags o' crap?
bottom_feeder_13
I love how Jim Seay of Premier was basically burning SFMM in his thing about terrain coasters. And Alan Shilke "Nobody's asked me anything crazier than I've proposed"; best quote ever.
ZeroGravity55
TGG posted a Offride video and POV of their Story Land coaster on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzLT8X_bNfY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BhW8kF99DWs They also said that the coasters in China will range from "ground hugging terrain coasters to cutting edge wooden coasters that go upside-down." http://thegravitygroup.com/gravitycast/

ftdude16
I kind of like the look of Coney Island's Thunderbolt. Kind of cute. And that little turnaround to head back to the station looks nice. Also, why in the world would the Beast be redone by RMC? That would kill every aspect of its rugged classic awesome beasty goodness. IronWolfman
I'm curious. What is everyone's favorite responses from the questions that I asked? Definitely what RMC said about Silverwood. I almost exploded! Hope they build it! Lol at what GCI said about craziest thing they were asked to build: "Son of Beast" Cool that Silverwood bought that crazy kiddie spinning coaster! Not surprised since they just worked with SBF Visa for SpinCycle.
The Geek Mojo
I like the new format of questions...especially the random ones. They probably like them too because they probably get bored too death saying the same damn thing all day long. Regardless if they spill the beans on everything or not, it's still cool to see what they do give up. Thanks TPR for the great IAAPA coverage.
