Hi, Im David (Not really). I'm the main designer behind Peanut Lake Park, my friend John Wardley and I founded this park in 1904 at the end of a trolley line in Massachusetts, near Peanut Lake, with a little more than $5000 between us both. We were able to get a loan from the local bank to fund our dream of owning the best park in New England, however, as this timeline will show, it hasn't been an easy journey... (I apologize in advance for some time skips, just how I roll)

1904- The park was founded in the spring of 1904. We had worked through the previous fall and winter to get everything ready for opening day . Now that its here I feel so different than before, the dream is finally coming into grasp, its time to take hold before it slips away...

The park before opening day - 1904 (In this picture you can see the picnic area and the Charles Looff Carousel building as well as a statue dedicated to a local military veteran)

1907- Can you believe its only been 3 years . Wow, people have really taken to the park. The trolley system has been really great for business, and the crowds have been really good lately... Nothing much other than that has really happened though, so i'll keep busy until the next update.

Wow the park was busy today - A random June day 1907

1909- During the Winter of 1909 the entire park crew as well as a crew from the Chicago Coaster Co. were hard at work with the first park expansion ever . While I admit it was a long 5 months, it all payed off in the end with the addition of the parks first roller coaster and a kiddie slide. The coaster is named Jump-the-dips as to keep a familiar name with other coasters. The slide is named the Sky Slide, its an astonishing 35 ft. off the ground, its one of the tallest slides I've ever seen. Its truly a sight to see.

General over-view of the park showing the new expansion. The next project (Electric lighting) should be coming pretty soon as well...

1910- Electric lighting has finally been added to the park, now the hours run later, the fun lasts longer, and the view at night just got that much more amazing...

A sky-view of the park, angled to feature the electric lighting...

Thats all for now... I'd love for feedback, general ideas, or just anything you want to add or criticize really... I want to know what everyone things, because it may seem great to me... but it might not for you just let me know...

1921- Its been quite a while since I my last entry... Wow, 12 years? Seems shorter, but in any case the park is expanding at an impressing pace. The picnic area has been demolished to make way for the newest expansion sadly, it will be rebuilt at a later date however. I consider it to be worth the loss though considering all we've gained lately... The additions include a Philadelphia Toboggan Company wooden rollercoaster named Forest Runner (Which is forest themed if you couldn't guess ) and a Dodgems . I hope these positive events will continue far into the future, but until then farewell...
