If what your saying is true, then that's a pretty good track record! (No pun intended)

You can register a new gmail account, claim to be in management at a park, report a rumor...and screamscape will most likely publish it. Fact checking is not what screamscape is about.

As for Ghostrider? Topper track would probably make the ride a top 5 ride in the world again. It's got a great layout as it is. Just needs to get back to being an airtime machine without the included spine adjustment.

I was trying to make the point that there's no point in trying to see how true the random rumors posted on Screamscape have been...

Alright, I'm going to be "that guy." You know, the one who isn't happy with the idea of getting an excellent, world-class, high-quality coaster just because we could have had something even better (i.e. an intamin). From what I have read about Leviathan it is a very good ride, but it is built for speed, not airtime. The layout is big on turns and lacking on hills. Yes, what a great idea, that's just what California needs, a hyper without airtime.

Those who aren't from California do not understand, do not understand what it's like when someone tells you how great Goliath is. "No," I want to shout to the poor airtime-depraved fool. "I have been to the east, I have made the journey to the one they call "El Toro," I have seen what they are keeping from us."

The intamin giga rumors were my last hope. Nothing, not even Ghostrider topper track can save us now.

^ lol. exactly how I feel in regards to the latest rumor.

Knott's gets one chance to build a great coaster of this scale and they'll likely miss the mark. If you had to choose between I305 or SkyRush against Laviathan, what would you choose? Obviously it's to late for knott's management to do anything now. Any plans they might have are already set in stone. We will have to see what they had in mind.

I get what you guys are saying, I REALLY do. But I have a hard time complaining about a coaster that doesn't exist yet, not to mention, one that 2 weeks ago was thought to be dead altogether.

When and IF Leviathan west is announced I will probably have mixed feelings as well. Awestruck at the possibility of an actual B&M giga on the west coast. Disappointed that it's not Intamin. But truthfully, I look forward to the disappointment compared to what we have now.

But this needs to be confirmed before I worry about it.

I'm still really hoping for a intamin as well but I really will take whatever Knotts decides to give us. As long as its a thrill ride and not another stupid family coaster I'll be happy. Any form of a giga or hyper coaster 20 min from my house would be amazing

If Knotts were to build such a significant coaster, I think we can agree that it would be the marquee ride for the park. I've tried to check out the reaction to Leviathan. It seems that most people really enjoy the ride. They talk about that drop and the sense of speed. The thing is that quite a few seem to like Behemoth more. Speed and airtime, together, just have a stronger impact I think, the way the body is impacted. What I would wish is that whatever they have decided, I want it to be memorable. A tall, steep drop is great, but there are thousands more feet of track to really affect riders and make a lasting impression.

And, yes, ejector airtime would be pretty unique around here.

Really, I would be happy with any high quality attraction, but, if it is a coaster, then why not have the best of all worlds: height, speed, G's and both ejector and floaty time, this is their chance.

Awestruck is exactly the opposite of how I felt about Leviathan.

For those wondering what "Desperados" is, it is an interactive theatre shooting game where riders are given a horse to sit on in the theatre, while playing a shooting game in front of a large video screen and depending on how good the rider is at playing the shooting game, the horse will move more aggressively. All the riders play together but everyone gets their own individual score. Sounds pretty sweet, but personally I'd rather see Knott's get a coaster.

Here is a thought; this coaster may be 307' (seing the CF giga-trend)

Hopefully this coaster utilizes "bunny camels" like levaithan, but more intense. Id much rather see this coaster be full of those and less giant camels. Size isn't everything.
