I think it probably will be a large attraction replacing PP (like a Dive Machine) since they quickly took PP out and it is still is September.

If I had to choose between a hyper or a dive machine for Knott's Berry Farm I think for this park I would choose a dive machine. I think a dive machine would minimize the chances of another silver bullet, while a hyper could just be silver bullet part 2.

What do you mean by a Dive Machine already being ruled out? I sure don't remember reading anything about that in this forum or anywhere else.

^ I have personally never been on one but I really have no need for another coaster that goes upside down a bunch of times. There are already too many of those in CA

wait a minute a rollerocaster that doesn't go upside a bunch of times is boring. I want to go upside down a thounsand times or esle that is a terrible ride

It's more valuable as scrap than it ever could be taking up warehouse space waiting to be used as a haunt prop!

 

Side note: people who are really in the know rarely post about it online. So keep the speculation going...makes for fun conversation.

I think it would be cool if they made a haunt maze that was based off a destroyed amusement park. They could use PP's track and Boat's and really make a cool maze through some of the wreckage. If they aren't going to put Scrambler back in they could use that too.

Drove by the park tonight after work. They are getting ready to take down the top of the lift and the top of the drop as sparks were flying from both sides. Wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the top is gone by tommorow. Let the cutting of steel commence...

Windseeker, Knott's Berry Farm newest ride, rises high above the Silver Bullet track. The ride malfunctioned on Friday night, stranding 15 riders in midair for 3 hours. No one was hurt.

I love those farm ads. This one is no exception...kudos to the ad agency they hired for this campaign.

Alright.....just got back from the park and Perilous Plunge is slowly fading from Knott's Skyline. Also, a general update on things as well. Enjoy.

Welcome back to Knotts. Let's take a look around...

Ghostrider is still down. Not sure when this will reopen.

Haunt is just around the corner and their famous Hanging stage is now being set up.

Screamin' Swing is also getting some work done.

Perilous Plunge is slowly being brought down to make way for a new, unannounced attraction which according to the park, should be announced shortly.

These next few shots will be from various places within the Boardwalk.

The drop has been cut in half.

The clown maze is being set up once again near Xcelerator. In regards to overall Haunt progress through out the park, it seems they have their work cut out for them to have everything ready by opening day.

Speaking of Xcelerator, it has some new signage out front of the entrance just before you enter the queue.
