benzo41190
I beleive that there are such things as UFO's. There are plenty of people that say that thats imposible and that there is no way they can fly light years away and make it to earth. Well first off they have alot more technology then us so it is very possible that they can fly here. And that way is worm holes. First off you need to realize that space in in 4 dimentions. There is the 3d world that we see in our world, then there is the 4th dimentional worls in space. That 4th dimention is "time". A worm hole is a tunnel that escapes the time space continuem. If you wanted to go to a place that is say 300 light years away, you could travel through a worm hole. Say it is 2:00 PM and you want to go somewhere that is 300 light years away, so you would think that it would take you more than 300 years. So you go in this worm hole and at 2:00pm and you are going at the speed of light. If you were in the ship it would be 300 years (to you). Now remember that you are in a tunnel that has escaped the timespace continuem so when you get to your destination, it only took 1 min (in reality). But to you it was 300 years. Now I think that the captains of the ships have developed some way to put them selves to sleep for along time. So if there home planet if 200 light years away, they travel throught the worm hole at the speed of light and then they go to sleep. When they get up, it was only 1 second. Now the UFO's are powered by some radion magnetic thing. If you have a circular UFO, the the motors will be set on a triangle under the ship. That alows the ship to move at high speeds and move very freely. NOTE: None of the above is a "fact" but there are theories out there that give evidence of Worm Holes. This all my opinion of what I have heard or read. As for personal experiences, I have once seen a Black Trianlgle that mover very low to the ground as was pitch black. Now you couldnt see the ship itr self but you knew it was there because it blocked out the stars as it passed. I was alone with my friend camping and we were in the middle of no were and we saw this thing, now thats freaky  Edited September 22, 2005 by benzo41190
ShoubraStreet74
Chances of other life in the universe: 100% Chances of humans coming into contact with that life: 0% Alot of the stuff in that explanation is unproven theories and psuedo-science. Also, the life that may exist in the universe is most likely nothing like earth life. So I don't see why human characteristics are often given to aliens in the movies and "sightings". The fact that something so distantly separated can have near-human features and technologies is absurd. Anyway... interesting stuff though.. BiCoastal Kid
I believe there is life outside of our own... the universe is huge, chances are there is SOMETHING out there. Do I believe in UFOs? Of course, but I don't think anoybody on earth has ever seen one. If something WERE to travel that fast, it definately would not be in solid form. And I agree, the theories you posted are really questionable. Also, if youw ere asking this as a question, why did you then try to explain their existence? I mean, you didn't even have a "I believe" or "I think" at the beginning of that rant. You just started stating it like fact, and then began to sound unintelligent in your lack of knowledge in the propulsion department.
benzo41190
OK, i am sorry i didnt post that, I just got carried away when typing this. None of this is a fact but, there are plenty of theories of Worm Holes out there but none of it is a "fact".
Space Freak
First off, anything that is in the air that you cant identify is a UFO. So if you see an airplane flying overhead at 40,000 feet, you cant identify that airplane, so its a UFO to you... But thats not what you are talking about is it. I dont think aliens have visited earth. I do feel that there is extraterestrial life throughout the universe (I believe it to be quite common), but I dont think they have come to earth. I feel that every 'UFO' sighting that people have claimed to see is in reality top secret military aircraft. I mean seriously, the F-117, the stealth fighter was developed in the 70s and 80s. It is now year 2005, just imagine what they military can build when you look at the technology that was produced 20 years ago... Rob "Your resident Rocket Scientist" Doughty Oh yeah, and whats the deal with your propulsion idea? "Radion Magnetic thing?"
benzo41190
well when going to the local video rental place I saw a video that was labled "ufo's". It was a 30 min video about UFO and sightings and there was plenty of footage. But then there was a guy who (aparently) worked at Area 51 and he got to ride in a space craft. Then he explained the radon magnet motor things that are under the space craft. This video was like copied or something, it just started, there was no FBI Warning or anything like that. Now i dont know if that guy realy worked at area 51 but, his theories did make sense.

BelizeIt
Personally I hope that there is some form of Intelligent Life in the Universe, other than Ourselves. There are Millions of Galaxies and Star Systems out there, so hopefully some of them can support "Intelligent" life. If were the only ones---That Sucks!!! Though if I was an "Alien" investigating Earth I would look upon it with Extreme Caution. On the Planet Earth there are Wars, and many other Violent Activities on nearly Every Continent. I mean if the Earthlings can't get along with each other, what hope would a potentional "Visitor" have. I mean we have all seen "Independence Day and Aliens" so our natural prejudice may already be present. But if "They" do Arrive I would Welcome Them!!! Change can be a good thing! I would like to see the Off-World Visitors shake up our current belief system! So Show Yourselves!!!!

USRoadTripper
I think it would be awfully arrogant of us to think that we are the only intelligent life forms in the infinite expanse of outer space. But I don't think we will make contact with anything else in my lifetime, or my grandchildrens lifetime, so why even speculate about it? -Julie

DATman
ALIENS SO EXIST! just look at mars attacks-that could so happen. CLAYMATION ALIENS FROM MARS KILL US WITH THEIR CLAYMATION GUNS!
MonkeyPants
I, for one, welcome our new alien overlords. Personally, I believe that there is likely life on some other plantets, given the aboslutely gigantic size of the universe. Billions of galaxies each with billions of stars. Seems reasonable that conditions exist somewhere out there for some forms of life. As for whether I think they've ever been to earth... It's entirely possible, though most peeps who claim to have seen 'aliens' come off as crackpots. However, if the movie "Independence Day" has taught me anything, and it has, it's that you shouldn't make fun of people who claim to have been abducted by aliens, cause if aliens invade us eventually, they get to rub your face in it! SonOfBeastSucks
Well, I might be the only one to say it so far in this thread, but I don't think aliens exist. I have a "family member" who swears on his life he saw a UFO and a (in his words) "Top Gun style" plane chasing it away and the government knows. Not only do I find that hard to believe, but he is one of the dumbest people I have ever met in my entire life. Also, (I think, not positive actualy) the Bible says we are the only ones out there. coasterdude5
I believe there is life out there. Alot of times, due to movies, we picture aliens as green horrible creatures. The actual definition of alien is a foreign creature. Everybody, the universe DOES NOT STOP. It keeps going and going. The human mind cannot comprehend that. There might be a planet billions of light years away that is similar to ours. But we would never no. At least in our life time. As for U.F.O.'s, I'm not sure. Until I see one, I'll just stay neutral. benzo41190
Does anyone listen to "Coast to Coast" radio. It is a radio show about topics like this and people call in and stuff. JamesMC
I believe that it's logical to think that we are "NOT" the only ones in existence. I have not seen conclusive proof that ET's have ever visited earth, but I wouldn't disregard any evidence for lack of faith. Face it, if the people of Earth could visit other habitable planets and check out the lifeforms that may exist there, why wouldn't we? It makes for good debate though. airforcekid
Also, (I think, not positive actualy) the Bible says we are the only ones out there. And you trust ever single thing and do everysingle thing the Bible says to do? Well the Bible also states that we should kill a woman who wears a clothing item with two different threads! So uh, yeah I trust that alot! No offense but theres alot in the Bible thats been flipped and flopped.
