Coastard69
An hour. Honestly X-Coaster is the only ride there that's worth it. Big Bad John is okay. Gauntlet suuuuuuucks. It was my first SLC and I didn't know what I was in for. Trust me on this, you don't want to ride Gauntlet. But you're probably going to anyway, so take some Ibuprofen with you. Bitchin! I assumed I'd have to earn that SLC credit Hopefully I get all my credits there. Seems like it probably a go based off this. Thanks for the feedback
ytterbiumanalyst
Just do the SLC trick where you don't ride it and go buy a beer instead Fixed Hahaha. And good luck finding a beer at Magic Springs. You'd think it would be in the building labeled "Biergarten," and it's certainly not in any other place, but the chance of them actually staffing said Biergarten are about as good as Hillary Clinton ever setting foot in Arkansas again. realKyle
Does anyone think that Six Flags is gonna buy this park? I've heard people talk about that for years, but I wonder if they have plans; of course they couldn't do it now cause of their financial state, but I wonder if they have it planned. I wouldn't be surprised if Herschend instead tries to snatch it up like they recently did with Kentucky Kingdom considering KK's history with Six Flags. Arkansas isn't going to tell them to stay closed, lol. The Gov pretty much ended all restrictions on Friday except the mask policy and it's on it's last leg. Restaurants were packed out all weekend. Historic downtown renovation of hotels and such should be tied to gaming permits to help fund it with stipulations for historic accuracy. Instead Oaklawn has a monopoly on gaming in town. The trade off should be allowing Oaklawn to host fall horse meets so that it can become part of the Breeder's Cup. If I could get a hold of Magic Springs, I would attach a hotel with an indoor Waterpark on it in a heartbeat and expand the operating season of the dry park to where it is open on the last three weekends of Oaklawn's early meet. You would be shocked at the families that go down there for the races. It is set up as a perfect cabin fever getaway location to the Metroplex and places like Memphis and Northwest Arkansas. It needs some investment that's for sure

It needs some investment that's for sure Oaklawn aint hosting the Breeders Cup anytime soon but I know what you mean. Kentucky is kind of the same way where there's so much potential for growth but the horse racing industry won't relinquish control of any type of gaming to anyone else. Meanwhile sportsbooks right across the rice in Indiana are absolutely raking it in, oh well.
