ernierocker
For most town's, the only way you are going to be able to get tickets from other people's towns is to click on their front gate. They regenerate tickets every two hours, but once someone clicks on it, they will be gone until the next two hour period. So, right now where most people only have the gate and ring toss, you will just have to be quicker than everyone else.
azza29
Love that the Krustyland front gate activity is 'searching bags for outside food'. Â But anyone else disappointed that Kang and Kodos' Twirl'n'Hurl doesn't appear in the list of rides? Thought that one would have been a given. No sign of Captain Dinosaur's Pirate Rip-Off either. At least the Wet and Smokey Stunt Show made it in!
Sir Clinksalot
Krustyland should be fun. The only thing I see so far that's kind of annoying is that you have to keep going back and forth to Springfield to get people to do the tasks. They should just come over automatically when you click on the task.
SharkTums
I'm loving this update! Â Really has reinvigorated my playing...like a combo Simpsons RCT!
Guy T. Koepp
I need more doughnuts. I play the lotto once a week, and that is it. But I need to get more doughnuts without spending money. Â I don't want to start on my Krustyland until I get through the Wolfbane stuff first. Â Guy "Maria, I'll be in the Humvee." Koepp
DevilSaint
Speaking of Donuts, has anyone accumulated a useable amount by free methods? Â Do they start adding up at the higher levels or is the only real chance you have to buy something cool through purchasing donuts and scratchers? jray21
I too am loving the new Krustyland. I've virtually forgotten my normal town. It's like starting all over again, but with a theme park! Â ^As for doughnuts, every once in a while there are glitches, some you have to trigger, others you don't. I think I got about 2500 doughnuts from a few glitches that I didn't do anything to trigger. But, it's been quite a while since I've heard of any glitches. Other than that, the only way is to pay real money, or you can build orange houses to get a lot of XP to get the bonus doughnuts for leveling up or reaching the max. Sir Clinksalot
So it looks like you can't do all of the Wolfbane stuff without spending donuts? I only got about 2 quests out of him without doing the Film Set. Â Ugh ... Â Still, enjoying Krustyland so far.
deathbydinn
^ There are quite a few Wolfcastle quests without having the film set. I don't have it and I've been working on his quests for about a week now. You might just not have the right characters free to start his quests, or it could be a glitch. SharkTums
^^&^ Yeah, I finished all of my Wolfcastle tasks without spending donuts.
Sir Clinksalot
Hmmm ... maybe I don't have the right people open. I'll look around online to see what I may be missing.
Guy T. Koepp
Does anyone know if it is actually possible to do everything without purchasing any doughnuts. And speaking of doughnuts. Which is the correct spelling? Doughnut or donut. According to Wiki. Both are acceptable. Meh! I'm over thinking this. Â In case anyone cares. ernierocker
Has anyone gotten donuts yet on the balloon pop game? Nothing but tickets (and usually small numbers) for me.
SharkTums
Never got any donuts in the game yet! Usually average 40 tickets.
OldJJman
On the boards, it says something like random (1-5) donuts become available after all things in KL have been placed. Also, you're awarded 50 donuts after every 300 games (min approx 100 days).
SharkTums
Update today to the 'normal' game! Â It's got the Sunsphere!!!! and more... Â All of my guys are on tasks so not quite sure what we'll be doing, but I was able to build the two buildings without any quests or tasks. OldJJman
Yup!! I already got the sunsphere! (3-day build) Â I'm thinking you need to have Wiggum free to start the tasks, only because of the requirement listed on the SWAT van. Â Now there's so much to do, and having the characters have tasks that cross all fields, makes it a lot better. As in, there seems to always be something to do. ernierocker
Amazing!!! I should go into the real-life Sunshere and play the game this afternoon!
Sir Clinksalot
I think it's Snake. Just got a new challenge with him. Unless there is one I was missing which would be surprising. Been awhile.

SuperShawn
Building the sunsphere now and just started Snake on his task to get Eddie and Lou unlocked. I've really been neglecting my Springfield and just focusing on getting Krustyland land stuff. Guess this update might balance that out for a bit. Â Â Has anyone gotten donuts yet on the balloon pop game? Nothing but tickets (and usually small numbers) for me. Â Only getting tickets so far. Ape
Lance2680. Â Been playing for a couple of months. I just wish I could I knew how to gather donuts more quickly without using actual money. I'm cheap and not very patient some times lol. I hate wating for the level up to get donuts. Only a level 28 right now
Sir Clinksalot
I'm not opposed to using $$ to buy donuts, but I got so burned by EA on Sim City Social that I'm not willing to fork over any $$ at this time, and haven't yet even though it's prevented me from getting some iconic buildings (Lard Land Donuts as an example). Â I was looking back at some of the past challenges to get buildings and I really hope they bring some of them back at some point for those of us who weren't playing last year.
