Baffles
Is it bad that I look at S&S concepts like that and just think *sigh* = it'll be rough and unreliabe.. Great coverage
CpBluestreakCp
Wow..an inversion on Hades, that will be crazy. So much great stuff this year at IAAPA, can't wait to see more. Great updates, keep them coming!
vacoaster09
HADES... INVERSION... I JUST POOPED. Finally a reason to go back and visit! Clean up on Isle
Hilltopper39
When Hades opened it was easily one of my favorite wooden coasters in the world, so freaking fast and intense and the tunnel was just insane. I know the thing hasn't aged well but if the Timberliners can restore it it's former glory with the new inversion that thing may jump back up into some people's top 5's once again. SharkTums
I hope to hear about a retracking as well. You can't just put new trains on a coaster and all will be great. I was even talking to Alan Schilke about this today! If the ride is retracked, new train(s), plus this it could be really awesome. I too loved this ride opening year. thrillerman1
With Timberliners inverting next year, I wonder if we will finally see them on The Voyage in 2013. Lots of amazing news coming out of there today, not to mention Elissa looking really stellar! Thanks for all the updates.
Wes
What's the over/under on Hades 360 becoming an unridable mess? I'm giving it 6 hours.

RoCo
Sounds Like Revenge of the Mummy IMO. Exactly, but all Space Mountain and stuff, so if this is going to China, or some other far-away place, I'm going to be a little bummed.
RCT3Bross
2 things: 1. We clearly see that the inversions on Wooden coasters are a great step, what will change our view on them for following generations. But please any park in Europa go to RMC or Gravity Group and order one. I can't stand the fact that they're still America only. 2. Man IAAPA 2012 looks like a lot of fun. Kind of want to be there. ernierocker
More from IAAPA 2012! Sally Corp. is showing off Justice League Alien Invasion 3D this year! There's a full-size working Air Race by Zamperla open to riders on the show floor! PTC is showing off its traditional trains, including the ones seen on Dauling Dragons, the High Five coaster. DyMoRides has the idea for a flying theater in which the riders experience the simulator standing up. There's a baboon on the show floor! Splashtacular already has an installation of its unique Double Bowls Eye slide. The most disturbing thing we've seen all day at IAAPA 2012! Clearly a product of Michael Bay's imagination. http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1247055#p1247055 This aerial ropes course looks terrifying! The Angry Birds Activity Parks are officially licensed and ready to be installed in your local theme park! It wouldn't be IAAPA without some awesome random park food to eat! Well the greaseless food looks pretty decent... Robb gives it the TPR Seal of Approval What's outside this year!?! Leave them in there!!!! S&S Mini Swing on display... And some pseudo-adults riding it! As the sun starts to set on IAAPA Day One, our faithful TPR Reporters are still Zip Lining the day away. Rick Hunter of Proslide won the IAAPA Impact Award and Best New Product Award! Look for this fun interview on our YouTube channel soon! Attention Crazy Australians!!! Check out this model of the all new Wet n Wild Sydney. Yes Waterworld will debut the first ever Hydro Magnetic Tornado More updates coming soon. Remember to POST YOUR COMMENTS!!! Rollercoaster Rider
It's not a Michael Bay thing. There's not girls bent over in shorts, There's no American Flags, and there's nothing Republican there.
biker7766
The Hades 360 track really reminds me of Intamin Pre-Fab track! Great updates guys, cannot wait to see more!
Ultimate
I like the water slide! I can see problems with people crashing in the bowl however.
willh51
No Skyrush train on display?! I feel kind of bad for PTC since this is basically the year of dumping their trains for newer, hotter rolling stock. Oh well, they're still awesome! BeemerBoy
What's the over/under on Hades 360 becoming an unridable mess? I'm giving it 6 hours. Six hours? I thought that was just for the ops to actually launch a train?
JonnyRCT3
It's not a Michael Bay thing. There's not girls bent over in shorts, There's no American Flags, and there's nothing Republican there. and NO Explosions! That donky-ish thing, is kinda cute. In a sick-twisted way Seems Intamin is realizing people want reliable rides, I'm not surprised they're not showcasing anything impressive. Who wants Multi-Million dollar coasters that are half-baked? linearinduction
Love the look of that new Air Race. I've head for a while about an 8-arm version, and also a transportable version, but I didn't know they would do both in the same. The First 32 Passenger 8 Plane Air Race is already operational in Chile.
RoCo
A Transformers/Megaforce mash-up? If so, I approve.
KBrylczyk
^ It's actually the late-night version of Transformers at Universal. See, it's the same ride, but instead of giant robots, it's a league of crime-fighting Transvestites.
