TPDave
I'v never heard of wisom rides before - what's their product range? It looks like tilt-a-whirls etc from the booth. Â I feel like a n00b
Hilltopper39
The make a lot of smaller transportable fair style ride, gravitrons, himalayas, tornados, sizzlers, and dragon wagons and stuff like that. Â I wonder how popular they are in England, your typical American county fair is full of their stuff.
Ultimate
^They make lots of little carnival rides, and circular roller coasters that can fit on a trailer

mwoods244
Thanks for all of the IAAPA updates! I always love this time of year. Super excited for S&S. Here's to hoping SFMM is taking note of the observation tower coaster concept (if that tower could even hold more weight).
cfc
There's definitely been some interesting announcements (for example, inversion for Hades), along with some amusing drama (Zamperla v. Golden Horse).
RoCo
Only thing that could possibly equal a shark themed water slide would be a Zombie themed waterslide. Oooooooooooooooo! Red water to simulate blood, and the rafts could be brain shaped! Â And it's called "Bloodbath." Can you imagine, a whole horror-themed waterpark? BRILLIANT. Guy, you are a genius. (Shane, please, Vegas, think about it.) Â Just finished watching the first video; freaking SWEET. S&S S is killing it. Great stuff, everyone! ILoveRides
I'm loving the coverage so far. In addition to the pictures, I swear these videos get better every year - excellent job Robb and Elissa on the interviewing! Â The new S&S products all look fascinating. S&S seems like they're pushing the boundaries as much as anyone, while also keeping an eye on efficiency and product cost. I would really love to see some of their new ideas come to fruition. Also - thumbs up to Kevin Rowher. He impressed me with his honesty and openness at the West Coast Bash talk he gave a few years ago at Knott's, and it shows here too. He's a great PR person. Â I enjoyed the interview with Joel Manby as well, and it was nice to see how excited Herschend Entertainment is for RMC's technologies. With Six Flags and Herschend clearly very bullish about RMC, I've got to wonder where Cedar Fair is on this one. Every time the, "Will GhostRider get the Rocky Mountain treatment?" question comes up at West Coast Bash, the Knott's team seems clueless as to what we're talking about. Hopefully the success these RMC coasters appear to be having with their competitors will make Knott's and Cedar Fair in general take a closer look - I feel like they're really missing the boat in this department. As a heart attack. http://www.amusementtoday.com/zamperla-awarded-judgement-for-trademark-infringement/ Â Not only were they removed from IAAPA, according to this article federal officers seized their booth and materials. jray21
Some more updates from IAAPA 2012! Â Â Really like the new design of the B&M booth! Â Â Adam checks out the Soarin' Eagle zip line. Â Â Checking out the Intamin booth again. Â Â WhiteWater always has some interesting stuff on display. Â Â Moser Rides has this "skateboard" type of ride we've seen at the Sega indoor parks. Â Â Golden Horse gets shut down at IAAPA, but these guys are still here! Vekoma needs to do something! Â Â Another look at that awesome themed Timberliner train at the Gravity Group booth. Edited November 16, 2012 by robbalvey

RoCo
The look on Elissa's face in that photo above is priceless. For reals, those Chinese manufacturers have some real stones. Â And yes, that triceratops car is way rad. Is maybe for China's Dinosaur Park???
SharkTums
The dinosaur car is just a mock up. In fact the Dinosaur is made out of Styrofoam and many people have broken it off the car! SharkTums
^To be fair, I'm not sure if it's all Styrofoam, I know parts of it are and it's just a light weight mockup.
Chroniq
In regards to the Golden Horse booth- You have to assume that IAAPA planned to do this.. Do you see how well designed that sign is? I've been to trade shows where this sort of thing has occurred and the sign is usually handwritten in sharpie.
