jedimaster1227
We're putting Bandit Bomber through the paces. Thought you might like a sneak peek. Told you we were working fast ... the whole ride is 550 meters. We are still testing the coaster so the exact run time is not yet determined. Don't worry this video was taken during our testing so it does not show the full capacity Thought you might like the full picture on Dawwama. We’ve got five words for you: Be afraid… be very afraid! Randomman295
This park looks absolutely stunning. Well designed slides, I'm sure, and there's a lot of them. By the way, is that coaster inverted or suspended? It looks both and I can't find anything on it.
SLUSHIE
This place looks amazing. Just like having a tidal wave at a water park turned out to be a no-brainer, I think this water coaster will end up being one of the stars of the park. The detail going into this place is pretty awesome. Slide design has seen a huge boom over the past few years and I'm pretty envious of these high tech parks that the middle east has been getting. Jew
Very cool to see how far waterparks have come in the last 10 years! This place looks incredible!
dubaidave
I may know someone who is going on a site visit on Tuesday! I am sure they will take loads of photos. I did see them testing the coaster an hour ago.
OCJ48
By the way, is that coaster inverted or suspended? It looks both and I can't find anything on it. It's one of Vekoma's Splash Party coasters, which is described on their website as "based on a new layout of the Suspended Family Coaster," so it's suspended. You can see the joint that makes swinging possible (in yellow) and the tubes that limit the extent of the arc (in blue) here: The same photo from above, with markings added. Here's Vekoma's website entry for the Splash Party.
jedimaster1227
I honestly didn't even notice that this coaster was capable of swinging. That adds one more element to this fun looking coaster. I'm honestly really interested in seeing how these family Vekoma coasters turn out (like Muntanya Russa at Tibidabo) in the hopes that they catch on here in the states. I love a good intense coaster just as much as the next, but I look at something like this and would love to see a sprawling coaster weaving in and out of a park's design. The closest things we have in Florida to that would be Cheetah Hunt or Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit.

_koppen
It's one of Vekoma's Splash Party coasters, which is described on their website as "based on a new layout of the Suspended Family Coaster," so it's suspended. You can see the joint that makes swinging possible (in yellow) and the tubes that limit the extent of the arc (in blue) here: The ride won't swing, those are just dampeners, making very small movements to the side possible. dubaidave
Well The site visit yesterday went very well and I can report that the park is stunning. The themeing is very detailed. the sheer amout of rides is just crazy. Many of the rides will have special effects. The coaster will have a lazer gun shooting section as well as water shooting capabilities. The snake slides will feature projections on the walls and laser efects along with one slide that actually shakes as you go down it. I will let the photos do most of the talking but, needless to say, thios is an unbelievably good park. here is Yas waterworld next to ferrari World view from the other side, you could almost say, the backside of water! the coaster was testing the kiddy area looks amazing The main wavepool the level of themeing is amazing one of the signature rides This flowrider will produce 3 meter high waves! dubaidave
Part 2 OMG! its a loopin g slide! Themed Showers Now this is interesting. This is one of the stations of an interactive treasure hunt around the park. You will have a wristband that will interact with stations like this and make diferent things happen The que is nicely themed as well They have quite a few people dryers around too This section of tube will vibrate the snakes will squirt water You can really see how the coaster intertwines with the other rides One of the speed slides
dubaidave
Last Part This speed slide Goes in this hole And comes out here This racer will show everyones individual positions at the end More Coaster Testing testing the water jets for the coaster Another of the interactive game stations Finally, Testing the big bucket
SharkTums
Looks really awesome! We saw a demonstration of the interactive wristband water park game at IAAPA. vacoaster09
Im at work looking for a my jaw... it dropped so far it fell off! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS AMAZING! I AM JUST FASCINATED ABOUT Dubai parks, abu dhabi, Ferrari World, and YAS Waterworld. The theme is amazing. Who is behind the thematic elements. US parks seriously need to work with what ever company did this.
