Hey everyone!

IAAPA starts up next week and this year we're gonna change things up a bit! Normally, we do interviews with all the major ride companies, and to be honest, most of the interviews from year to year are very similar, because they can't really talk about that much coming up, and we already know about what they've already built.

So this year we're gonna give the opportunity for YOU to ask a question! Here's how it's gonna work....

RULES! (Because we need them!)

1. We'll post to this thread a ride company that we are currently gathering questions for.

2. Ask away! As as much as you want, but EACH QUESTION MUST BE IN A SEPARATE POST!

3. Once we've closed the current question period for one ride manufacturer no more questions may be asked of that ride company.

4. We will pick FIVE questions to ask each of the ride companies from the questions submitted to the forum.

5. Those questions will be asked as part of the interview videos we do on the IAAPA show floor.

6. Anyone who deviates from these rules will be disqualified and their questions will be thrown out.

Everyone got it? GOOD! Now....

What question do you want us to ask S&S at IAAPA 2012?

For S&S:

We all know about old S&S Air Launch coasters like Dodonpa and now it seems you've created another style of launched coaster with layouts that may be called more interesting than the old ones. Will we be seeing more of these in the years to come?

Question for S&S; I've been very intrigued by the 2 S&S launched coasters that opened in China (Extreme Rusher & Bullet Coaster), is there any plan or demand to build more of these? We are happy to have Powder Keg here in the USA & would like to see more, the next generation of S&S launched coasters seem very exciting and unique.

Edit: I submitted too late, sorry for the repeat question

S&S: What do you think is the main reason that there have there so far been only three of your 4-Dimensional coasters built (Including X/X2 which I know was built by Arrow before S&S purchased it). I personally think they make for some of the most unique experiences on a roller coaster (And X2 continues to produce ~2hr queues on many days 10+ years after being built, which is pretty remarkable), so I wonder if it is the build cost, or is it just something that parks either don't request or aren't familiar with?

S&S: We all know that you hold the record for fastest accelerating coaster in the world and that your coasters can achieve incredible speeds. Have you ever considered building a tallest, fastest and fastest accelerating coaster in the world all at once?

S&S- Many Arrow Dynamics built coasters appear to be reaching the end of their predetermined service lives. Have you been approached by parks about continuing to maintain these rides with the intention of keeping them around longer similar to

how Schwarzkopf rides are being maintained?

B&M: Regarding Leviathan, how is that each train has 8 rows instead of 9, like other B&M hyper models that feature these old-generation trains?

It may just be becouse this one is a giga, maybe as airtime isn't that important in gigas shorter trains are fine...?

or maybe for the same reason Dragon Khan has seven rows instead of 8 (like all the other B&M loopers do).

This thread is for asking questions, not for answering questions based your guess.

Please follow the rules of this thread.

Thanks.
