Tanks4me05
B&M: On most of your coasters, I noticed that the connection between the track and the supports is not a straight weld to the flange piece, but the track/support flange piece is a completely separate component, and is connected by gusset plates and bolts; that appears to me to unnecessarily increase the component count of the ride and unnecessarily direct shear force to the bolts when they otherwise needn't have that force directed towards them. What advantage does this build style have over most other companies' designs where the track/support flange is directly welded to the track? Â Yeah, I know what you're thinking, Robb. Nerdy even for us enthusiasts. But it's been bugging me for years.
TyRush
Is your reasoning for building less intense rides to increase efficiency or increase the life span of the coaster? Or is it maybe both?
GrapesLie
B&M- As you know one of your top competitors Intamin has successfully designed and built several Wooden Roller Coasters. RollerCoasterSmi
B&M: What were the challenges faced when building a 300+ foot coaster? Â I'm sorry this is not a question but more of a statement: would you feel comfortable asking the ride manufacturers themselves why their product is less forceful (i.e. less good)? rcdude
B&M: With the similarity of many of your coasters (especially more recent installations), are they typically made from a standard design modified to fit the park's needs or are they all custom designed from the ground up? backrow
Why can't you design a better restraint that is comfortable on your wnigriders? I would ask the same question to intamin except it would refer to all their coaster designs!
