texas5091 Posted October 14, 2012 Share Posted October 14, 2012 Yea, so my first thread Lake Norman will no longer be continued, I just got bored with the project and...yeah....so...Enjoy! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~``` Ok, so, I am a pilot for this airport in my home town, and some of the other pilots at the airport keep on talking about this abandoned amusement park. They said that after a really bad hurricane, the park had to much damage and would have cost the amusement park owner over 3 times as much as the value of the park. So the owner just left it to rust. So today after work, I hopped in a helicopter and flew over the park. What I found was interesting..... Looks like a small man-made pond... This really caught my eye, as it looks like this inverted boomerang was still being built... Again, the inverted boomerang... I believe a ferris wheel used to be there...
