Moose
The parabolic nature of this slide could make it interesting and a lot more thrilling than a tornado.
TPDave
I don't know too much about watersides but is the exit coming out the side of the funnel something new? I could have sworn they normally go out the end?

Guy T. Koepp
Shane, that looks awesome! Has that upward portion of the racer been tested yet? Seems like you may have some of your lighter patrons rolling back. Which would be awesome!
jray21
That's awesome Shane! Can't wait to see how that uphill portion works out!

cfc
Surfin' USA will definitely add a new wrinkle to the old racing mat slide--a chance for some crazy airtime!

netdvn
Is there any word on some of these larger additions coming to the Utah park? It seems like that water park could benefit from bigger slide additions.
_koppen
I would have preferred to see this built in a bigger version, but that racer still looks to be awesome!
Jew
^I honestly wasn't a fan of the enclosed/twisty mat racer slide at SFGAm's waterpark. The slide LOOKED awesome, but the enclosed beginning didn't really do anything. This twist on the mat racer looks like it can make for an airtime filled ending! Nyteowl
Looking forward to this park opening! I'll be sure to give it a visit and check out all the awesomeness .

Agree, I felt the same way about the Mat Racer at Aquatica, the enclosed tube wasn't nearly as exciting as the drop was.
montezooma
What the other renderings didn't show is the bridge that spans the slides' recessed area, so you will be able to stand on the bridge and watch them race under you. Coming from a starting point 55' about the ground and dipping an additional 10' below...all calculations seem to add up that you will make the uphill portion with ease. Voxelmatic
You made a good choice by putting a bridge over the uphill portion of the slide. I can't wait to see how this concept comes out in real life!
