Belgiumcoasterfreak
I actually think we definitely have the weather for it, someone (hopefully me one day) just needs the balls to build something like this over here. Hmm, if the park in Draper was possible, we definitely have the weather for that. Okay, Kickstarter project for a Cowabunga Bay project (aka Polin Heaven complex) in Europe anyone ? Now back to Vegas. I don't mind if the Water Playground is something for 2015, just curious if this awesome concept is coming to Vegas .
_koppen
Shane, one question, how are you going to landscape the park? I didn't really follow the the Wet'n'wild park, but one complaint I read on their FB page is the "desert landscape" and the lack of real grass. Here in Scandinavia our small water park's have grass all over the places, and I do like it. How will you landscape the park? This slide looks so AWESOME, both in colors, and how tight the helix is. LOVE it! Okay, Kickstarter project for a Cowabunga Bay project (aka Polin Heaven complex) in Europe anyone ? LOL

Can we maybe get some new pics or even a video tour of you showing us around the construction site showing us little things that you are excited about? Just really excited! Great job and thank you! We have begun assembling the children’s play structure from Fibrart. We have also begun to install Beach Blanket Banzaii, the 4-person raft slide from Polin. Today the wave pool gets a plaster coat and we will begin filling it with water tonight. Opening is just a couple of weeks away…July 4th! Caban-A-Rama pool Custom made bike racks. montezooma
That LED screen! I love it! I wish it was an LED screen but it will actually be themed to be a 1950’s beachside Drive In Theater named the “Surf-A-Rama Drive In” On the marquee the “r” has fallen off, therefore “Surf-A-Rama D ive In” The black portion will be a retro intermission scene and the red part will be a marquee. However, we hope in the future to have an actual screen that we can show movies on. CowabungaBay-WavePool-IntermissionArt-060314.pdf

TheDarkMaxim
Just out of curiosity, why did they fill the pool, then start building the play structure?
Feazy
I would say you should get a led board over the wave pool and you can advertise companies that sponsor the park and have dive in movie nights!! So I saw in all the renderings that there's a bridge that crosses over the dip of the racer slide is that still happening? Also if wild surf and the other big kid slide play area arent complete when you open on the forth will construction still keep going or are you gonna wait till the off season? Robocoaster
Thanks. Thanks a lot. Just thanks. I was in my suit having coffee, ready for work when I stopped in TPR for a quick look-see. Checked up on your park and all the recent photo updates and aerial tours , and ended up drooling all over myself. I mean it, it's not pretty. My light blue shirt is now dark blue. Well, the front is anyway. Afraid when it dries (if, rather; it's fairly well soaked now) it'll show dark splotches due to the coffee-infused spittle. No time for one-hour martinizing. Drat... Seriously though, another big thanks. Soooooo looking forward to your opening. Park looks awesome!I am a sucker for a good shooting gallery, btw. This town needed one.
